[Resolved]  Dewan Holidays — zero commitment

hello everyone this is kishan,

i had taken a travel package for EUROPE from Dewan holidays, the commitments made by them were not met by them at all.
there service structure is as old as their name. somebody needs to tell them that days of dewans are over, they need to get a lot more professional and understand the need of their clients.
after being sent to europe, i felt that i was totally on my own. there was no follow up from their side to take care of the service commitments that were made to me. i feel that i would have been better of, had i visited that place totally on my own. i atleast would have been mentally prepared to take care of myself and my family there and wunt have wasted money on their package.

Household Diwan — Parcel not received

6A parcel was booked from ETAWAH TO BASTI on 03.04.2009, receipt bearing No.03 G 692678. It was infomed that it shall reach at Basti within a week's time. Till today, the parcel has not been receieved at Basti.

And according to me my family had a splendid time in europe...not even that i have also travelled to usa, singapore, malaysia, bangkok, hong kong with the dewans and i can assure you. I received flawless service along with incredible nominal prices...

For Mr.Krishna...Sir, every year thousands of People travel arund the globe with Dewans, and out of a 1000 or so, only one or two complaints we receive from clients, and we do expect that but i would like to say next time if you ever would like to travel with us ... do point us out that you were effected due to our services... and we promise we would give you no reasons to complaint ...or better we would give you many more reasons to travel with us yet again...as our agenda still remains the same ..

you are surely right. i wonder why more people do not complain against them. at the office you have the exxxtra rude seema who could commit anything before the booking and make sure that none of the commitments are meet once you leave for the trip. we are on a trip with them...and surprisingly till now we do not have a schedule.with us...the one provided initially keeps on changing on the whim of our inconsistent unhelpful and a so called guide who actually has no knowledge about the places we visit...and his standard reply is we cannot do anything about this ...delhi office mein hi bat kijiya...

we end up with a guide who keeps us waiting at the airport for 4 hours before finally taking us to the hotel at london...then we are shuttled endlessly in their tour bus...we reach the swami narain temple ...only to find that closed...

the bad luck does not end here...nobody in the group gets their lunch commitments meet...we are left at the mercy of a guide aged 60 who has no enthusiasm to show us around but keeps discouraging us from visiting things mentioned in our scheduled itinery sighting time issues...local guide issues etc.

the bad luck continues...we check into paris...only to be met with the worst breakfast ever at so called four star novotel hotel (about 31 kms from the center of the city)which consist of cold badly done scrambled eggs..pork salami and bread and butter...and to shame made to sit away from the main dinning area (which had a luxurious spread of continental breakfast.)seems like we got the plague... we endure the same repeated breakfast for the next 3 dreadful days.

after 3 hrs at Effiel tower...we again end up with no lunch as the guide says that we were scheduled to reach there at 1:00 and so now that u have delayed u have to forgo the lunch.

now we have checked in at novotel zurich.where despite this being a 4 star hotel there is no provision for a kettle or tea coffe bar...no mini bar is there either...i wonder if this is the hotel policy or again dewan travels has come into their money pinching ways...maybe they save another 5 euros...per person /day by resorting to this trick...waiting to see what fate has in stock for us as the morning breakfast at this so called 4 star resort which offers bed and breakfast...would we again be made to sit in seprate makeshift dining area...and served the breakfast like at Novotel Cerge pontisse...or would the dewan gods shine on us and make the holiday have some good food memories for us.
I am writing today because today i also faced the non committment, un ehical, non professional attitude of the employees working in diwan travels.I booked my gujarat group tour package one month before when i asked one of the employees named mr raghavendra he had informed that the next group tour is going on 22nd october 2012 i requested him to forward the details of the package and after receipt of the package when i enquired whether any other group tour is going thereafter the he said that this is the last tour and due to diwali rush they are not taking any tour . I booked package with advance payment of Rs 10000/- . As now only 7-8 days left for the departure i thought why the person from diwan travels has not come to hand over the tickets .with this feeling i called up their office then the phone was given to one lady taruna who has informed me that as there are some cancellation they are finding a way out and the status will be informed after two three days . As we already made up our mind and also planned our holidays i asked her to please inform the status today with the reasons of not informing the days before. she replied that ham logon ko phone kar K puch rahe hai jab ki fact was that there were no people who are willing. In case they had already planned not to operate the tour then they can inform on their own before. I again called at their office and requested to give my call to Mr. Manoj whose name was appearing in the advice then again that lady picked up the phone and told me that why u are calling again and again and wasting our time. Is this the way to talk to the customer. she told me that he has gone out and this is his mobile no. Then she called me in the evening that the trip is cancelled.She even told me that she is wasting her time and telephone call in which she could trap another customer. Dewan travels dont know what stuff of people working in their office who have no manners to speak. Their tone is different at the time of booking and at the time when it comes to ther part to provide the services. I will advise all the people to be aware of them as this can happen to any body. I agree that the dowmfall has alredy started.
one thing more i want to share that then lady at dewan travels informed me that there are two more group tours are going one on 31st oct and another in nov which are full and we can not be accommodated therein . they are making conradictory statement each time .
A European Tour was organized by Dewan Holidays in May 2017 for senior citizens. They hired a sub-standard coach for the longest part of the journey (Paris-Germany) which broke down and the entire group of senior citizens, ageing 60-75 years which included my parents, were stranded on the road for more than 7 Hours, with no provision of food or water whatsoever. At nightfall, the hapless and aged travelers were shuttled back to the starting point of the journey. They missed a country, and were subjected to unnecessary ordeal on account of mismanagement at Dewan's. When asked for explanation, their executive in India hung up the phone on me. I would never travel with them.
