[Resolved]  Dhl India — UNRELIABLE AND MISLEAD CUSTOMER ON DELIVERY - DHL INDIA

This is the 3rd instance in the last six months, of lack of promise and assurance after charging full amount of Rs 3376 by DHL INDIA(Packet no[protected]. It fools people into taking their TIME DEFINITE SERVICE which is a complete waste of time and gives false assurance of delivery.

I booked a packet on 19/3/09 at 13:30 pm and was assured of definite delivery by 12:00 pm in Milan on 23rd March, 09. I was charged higher money only for this service and I believed that this would help me get my packet to my husband in time and help him apply for a Visa Appointment tomorrow i.e. 24th March, 09. It has not reached and no call has come despite me calling DHL INDIA CALL CENTER 5 TIMES AND LEAVING A SERIOUS COMPLAINT.This leaves us with waste of time, great mental agony and costing me money of my entire holiday.

NOW I AM LEFT STRANDED, NO CALL HAS COME FROM DHL, DON’T KNOW WHERE PACKET IS LYING AND NOBODY AT DHL IS BOTHERED TO INFORM.

IT IS A USELESS SERVICE WITH NO TRUTH IN THEIR CLAIMS AND I RECOMMEND NO ONE TAKING THIS SERVICE FROM DHL.

DHL INDIA IS A SHAME ON THE WORLDWIDE RESPECTED BRAND LIKE DHL .

This has caused me immense mental stress and inconvenience and I shall go upto higher authorities in DHL INDIA AND Lodge this complaint against the manager Ms Harpreet and all her team at call center – Syed, John Jacob, Malaysia team lady who called me in the morning, their delivery boy Vishal-All are ill trained with no customer orientation and lack severely in understanding why a customer will take such an expensive service in the first place.

It goes a long way to prove that DHL INDIA is full of service less people.

I have faced this twice before once when I sent a cargo worth Rs 13000/- to Milan and when my husband sent his university papers to HEC where he missed his application by University Express by one full day.

He had to plead the university to take his application and it would have cost him a year.

I WOULD LIKE TO PUT THIS SOUR AND ILTREATED EXPERICE INHANDLING SHIPMENT FROM BY DHL STAFF THOSE WHO ARE GETTING THEIR SALARIES AND EARNING THEIR BREAD FOR THEIR FAMILIES THEY ARE ALL TO BE PUNISHED IN PUBLICALLY USING DHL MEANS SHIPMENT ON DOT.

WHERE AS IT IS COMMON SPECIALLY FROM INDIAN DHL STAFF THEY LEAST BOTHERED ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES,

I WOULD BE GLAD IF ANY BODY GUIDE ME THE RIGHT PERSON LODGING A COMPLAIN
ABOUT MY UNPROFESSIONAL WAY OF HANDLING .

WHERE AS THE DHL CORPORATE HAS PROVIDED AT EVERY POINT OF SHIPMENT MOVEMENT THROUGH SCANNING ATHE SHIPMENT IN ORDER TO TRACK IT DOWN IN CASE OF ANY HUMAN ERROR, BUT WHAT WILL YOU DO WHEN SCANNING IS NOT DONE UPON SHIPMENT FORWARDING, HOW DO U TRACK IT DOWN AFTER A WEEK OF TIME ALSO THE SHIPMENT SHOWS THE LAST UP-DATE OF 5 DAYS AGO, AND DELHI FACILITY IS LEAST BOTHERED ABOUT ANY UP-DATE ABOUT THE SHIPMENT,

WE BELIEVE THAT THESE PEOPLE ARE TO FIRED OR ATLEAST PENALIZED FOR THEIR
NON-PROFESSIONAL APPROACH FORTHE SAKE OF DHL BRAND.

WISH HIGHER AUTHORITIES MAY TAKE A STERN ACTION ABUT THIS NOT BECAUSE WE SUFFERED FOR THEIR IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOUR JUST TO AVIOD ANU FUTURE BLUNDERS.

BECAUSE INDIAN WORKING FORCE IS GLOBALLY APPRECIATED FOR THEIR HARDSHIP BUT IN INDIA SOME OF THE PEOPLE ARE CAUSING A BLACK SPOT FOR WHOLE DHL PERSONIALE.

My supplier also booked a shipment from Bolivia and gave US$1680 to DHL and now they are blackmailing us and want more and more money without no fault from my side.All of them are very greedy people.In India, they are not going to deliver goods to me.I am very stressed because of their behavior.
They want damerage change from me but i have charged all the payment as my shipment prepaid this shipment.These DHL people made delay in formailies wit customs and want charges from me.
They all DHL people Vikas saini and Priya Gonsalves are very irritating and ill mannered.
I will advise everyone never to work with all these bastered.

i book my order from U.K site they send shipment but i didn't get any communication from dhl i track my order it was in hold i contact customer care they said you have to pay duty and fill some legal forum i request them at least send me the address where i deposit these paper they said they give mail me and send text to my number. i prepare all legal paper in three these but still i don't get any mail or text from them i call again they said your shipment is return because you don't communicate and guess what tracking still dont show any return its stil show shipment its on hold

Worst service by dhl i ordered iphone 6 cover from amazon.com single cover cost around 1500 bucks they are telling me to pay 1530 custom duty on that package

we booked a consignment from US TO INDIA in DHL . Consignment arrived from US to INDIA in 3 days . But for customs clearance it has taken 12-15 Days. They are worthless and incompetant people to do cargo clearance at customs . They ask for lot of documentation every day and delay the process . Paying high cost to DHL is not advisable for courier and cargo if it is to be customs cleared . They bare fast only in flight .


In customs clearance they are worse than the worst clearing agent .

Hello everybody and specially DHL I want to tell your all they are legal extortions peaple I send a parcel from thailand to mumbai with contain food product which was gifted to me by one company they send the parcel to delhi for custom clear so that I can't reach to them because I am in mumbai so what they say I have to belive my product value was 4000 if I buy they say custom say 32000 and have to pay duty they don't give clear answere and make us fool it just big name I have given them all they document they wanted my email [protected]@gmail.com if dhl want to contact they can I am ready for legal

Please note have received a package Via DHL which should reach me in Maximum 4 days reach after 8 days and they asked me to pay handling charges and customs duty. I do not understand why they always need to charge something extra over what they have already charged the sender. As i receive packages from other courier services and never had to pay extra to receive samples. I received another package from another courier agency in 4 days which was of a higher value and more in weight and i did not need to pay a rupee. I have asked all my suppliers to hence forth not use DHL

Be cautious while dealing with them.
DHL and Lucky vitamins are doing fraud for delivering goods to the Customers

I have sent a shipment to Spain on March 4, 2016 through DHL vadodara. At the time of making the payment n sending it they did not ask for any document and inform me about the custom charges n all. The parcel got on hold from Spain due to lack of document and n was thn returned. Even though I have submitted the kyc they asked for through mail n what's app. When I went to their office they told me I'll get full refund and he has initiated the process. Now I am receiving mails for them asking for money for custom charges in india. And when I asked them for the refund they had sent me a mail saying no refund is applicable for my shipment.
My shipment to my client has been recd by her with a carton having her n mine both names proper and the inside stuff was shockingly not the ones which I had sent her .. The entire stuff inside is replaced .. With some packing materials which is supposed to be in polland and is in Texas n my parcel contained 2 Sarees n 1 suit which she was supposed to receive .. Now the thing is if its a mistake its non professionalism and if its not a mistake then its a clear cut fraud .. I have all the image proofs along with .. But its a shame on my side she pays me for the stuff n recvs some papers .. And now I donno where in this whole world the Sarees n suit has gone
.. Its a ridiculous thing ..I have lost my peace of mind.since yest and I don't even know how long it wud be like this ...

Dont use DHL service to send or receive couriers...U will never get u r courier on time.I work for Blue Dart & I don`t recommend Indian people to use DHL service
Dear Sir/Mam,

We would like to express some concerts regards to your (DHL) services.

Recent Consignment No. [protected], same consignment but old Consignment No.[protected].

The mention consignment is return to us twice without any specific reasons with damaged condition. We have mail ([protected]@bluedart.com) to find out reason and call number of persons so we can rectify the hurdles but unable to get revert. Our export business is hampered due to this, above all we got penalties for not able to deliverer products on time and we may get trouble to do business in future for the same.

This is not first time we find trouble with DHL services.

Please do needful for the same.

I'm having same problem with DHL India. Express delivery (3 days) and they simply kept the parcel at their own wish @ their office and not submitting to Customs for clearance.. No update from their side. Every morning they update as Uncontrollable Clearance Delay. After huge number of times calling their toll free number I got a contact email ID where I asked why it's delayed. Then he called me and asked for some more documents for shipment and I gave it within 30mins. After that full 1 day went, so update. When ever I'm calling I'm told, I will update. This is simply ridiculous ...

Can I get a resolution please
Same issue of customs delay from DHL. Very unprofessional and no proper support from DHL India. Express delivery which in a 2 days came from HK to Bangalore is waiting for more than a week to get cleared. They asked many documentation clarification letters which I underwent to submit when I called them for update. Later there is no update nor any action from them. Very very poor service and surprised by the way they handle on reputation of the company. Only one word to say avoid DHL India
I am writing from an 100% EOU Unipick Foods Pvt Ltd. We have imported some spares for our machine. The invoice and packing list provided to DHL very clearly mentions that we are an 100% Export Oriented Unit, which means that we are excepted from all import duty. DHL being a logistic company and their clearance department should be well aware of this and procedure to clear imported consignment for an EOU. Instead they have overlooked all the documents and just asked for technical writing and after that sending an checklist without asking for annexure III. We thought that they will come back asking for annexure III after filing BOE. Instead they have cleared consignment and are asking us to pay Rs 32000 towards clearance. This has happened with us 1 month. They don't go through any documents and blindly do things and blame the customer.

Usually other courier companies, they ask for authorization letter along with Annexure III for clearance.

How can we really on such service? Being an export oriented unit, we will be importing many items for our production unit. We cannot pay import duties for all the items, that is why we have exception from the government. DHL does not consider this and blindly clear things and ask us to pay import duties.
