[Resolved]  Doshi Brothers - HP Gas Cylinders Distributor — Delay in delivery of Gas Cylinder to Original Consumer (Household use) and in turn Selling Gas cylinders to Commercial Organisations like Hotels

HP Gas Cylinder — Delay in providing the Gas Cylinders

I have booked the HP gas cylinder through Soham Gas service Thane on 12th August. We have not yet received the same as on today - 28th August. My consumer number is - 620885. We are faching lots of trouble due to the bad service from Soham Gas.

Please look into this & resolve this issue at the earliest.

I HAVE BOOKED MY REQUEST PERSONALLY AT THE ABOVE DEALER ON 03.08.2009. I WAS TOLD GAS REFIL WOULD BE SUPPLIED IN 3/4 DAYS TIME. TILL TODAY, i.e. 10.08.2009, THE DEALER HAS NOT SUPPLIED ME THE REFIL. THIS IS THE CASE VERY OFTEN NOT ONLY OF ME BUT OF SEVERAL OTHER CUSTOMERS ALSO.

MY GAS CONSUMER NO. IS 604719.

PL. TAKE URGENT STEPS TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE AND PUTTING THE DEALER ON NOTICE.

Dear Sir,
I have applied for a gas cylinder replacement 4 times at doshi brothers. I have personally walked into their office 4 times in the last 10 days to give my gas consumer number and get the gas cylinder replaced. I am unwell for last 20 days and not been attending office, still i was forced to go to this gas distributor office as none of the phones seems to be accessible. Whenever we try the number, the number is busy and when we get the number nobody picks up the line. This has made me go to their office 4 times. All the time, they note down my consumer number in a small chit of paper and say today evening or tomorrow morning the gas would be at my house. This has been going on for a very long time. There is no system where the consumer number is logged in a computer and a log is created and a number is generated for us to keep track as to when we would get the cylinder. Such high level of ineffecieny puts the common man in a real situation of helplessness and agony. Please do look into the matter seriously and take appropriate action against this gas distributor.

I HAVE BOOKED MY REQUEST PERSONALLY AT THE ABOVE DEALER IN THE FIRST WEEK OF JUNE. I WAS TOLD THAT CYLINDER WOULD BE SUPPLIED IN 3/4 DAYS TIME. HOWEVER I DINT RECEIVE ANY. LATER,ON 4 OF JULY I HAD CALLED UP AGAIN FOR THE CYLINDER SUPPLY. BUTTILL TODAY, i.e.13.07.2010, THE DEALER HAS NOT SUPPLIED ME THE CYLINDER. OFTEN SUCH PROBLEMS OCCURS WITH DOSHI SUPPLIERS PERHAPS THIS TIME ITS MORE THAN A MONTH OF DELAY. AND WHEN I HAD ASKED THEM FOR FOR MY REFILLED CYLINDER, THE ONLY ANSWER I GET IS THAT BILL HAS BEEN MADE AND THE DELIVERY WOULD BE MADE TODAY ITSELF.. BUT ALL TURN OUT TO BE FALSE PROMISES..
