[Resolved]  Dr. Noshir Shroff, Shroff Eye Centre — Dr. Noshir Shroff, Shroff Eye Centre not interested in Patients

Dr. Noshir Shroff, of the Shroff Eye Centre is one of the most educated and skilled Doctor of India. I got my mother's Cataract surgery done by him. But we are very disappointed by the fact that the Doctor himself is least interested in patients.

To verify my claim, take an appointment by calling their number (2 clinics in New Delhi one at East of Kailash and other at Surya Kiran, Connaught Place). When you go to visit Doctor, if your appointment was of lets say 1 PM, the first Doctor to see you will be at atleast 2 PM. Why I say First is because you are seen by a series of Doctors (including lesser skilled and trainees) before you get to see the glimpse of Dr. Noshir at the end.

When the turn to see Doctor Noshir Shroff does come, he says you to sit infront of him, looks at your eyes for 1-2 seconds and then cracks some jokes and says ask for another appointment after so many days.

When you ask the series of Doctors about your eyes, they say we only write the report, Doctor Noshir will tell you full details. When Doctor Noshir is asked, he does not reply straight away rather confuses.

Very bad experience, not once but atleast 6-7 times, same behaviour.

Its Ok Doctor that you are very knowledgable but don't forget, we the patients treat Doctors as God, and you should think a bit about us too.

Apparently Doctor Noshir is more interested in acquiring the properties in and around his clinics, and also receiving awards, but least interested in his patients and what they feel about him.

I got disappointed by the behaviour of such high-level Doctor many times and many of his patients who met me at his clinic reported the same grievance.
