Dear all
EIILM Uni. is fully recognized by the UGC and ugc nominee for the DEC approval just check the site of recognition status of dec it is about to get the accordance of recognition, so dont worry you will get dec and ugc approved degree off campuses of all private uni. has been banned by ugc and HRD, with dec approval your degree is not fake if you have taken admission in July 08.

is eiilm university ugc recognised??????

For EIILM university we must see a written statement from the AICTE to confirm the status of the awarding institute and the level of the qualification (whether it is equivalent to a Postgraduate Diploma or MBA in India

The EIILM University, Sikkim: This University was established under The Eastern Institute for Integrated Learning in Management University, Sikkim Act, 2006, which was enforced on the 26th day of May 2006.

The Governor of Sikkim is the Visitor of the University. The Board of Governors and the Board of Management have been constituted and have already held a couple of meetings. The Special Secretary, HRDD is a nominee on the BOG and the Director, Technical Education is a nominee on the BOM.

The University is functioning from rented premises at Jorethang, South Sikkim.

It is also recognised by the UGC, under section 2(f) o[censored]GC act. But it is a private college and as per latest UGC norms it has its own juridction for conducting classes and cannot affiliate any colleges under its Privilege. For conducting courses through distance mode also it has to take the joint approval from UGC-AICTE-DDE. this is as per my knowledge. for the news related to private universities please visit www.ugc.ac.in.
