[Resolved]  Election ID card — Election ID card Name & Address not correct.

My name and address is not correctly mentioned in my new Election ID card. My name should be Vatsala Dasarathy instead of Vatsala D Dasarathi. Address : B 303, Pratibha, Bldg No. 19,
NNP Sankalp, Off. Film City Road, Dindoshi, Malad E, Mumbai 400 097. I also filled up form no. 18 for the correction but then also I got a card with a wrong name and address after 6 months. why can't the work be done properly. why inefficient people are kept in this dept. why are the people harassed ? when will i get a corrected copy of my elecltion id card.

Hi,

I have a voters ID, However I am able to Cast my vote in the 2009 Lok sabha election because of the reason my name is not in the list.

Please advice how a citizen with the valid Identity cannot vote for the election.
about 50 people in the area facing same situvation along with with.
