hi my name is monique from ottawa ontario canada, i receiced couple emails from freelotto also elitecourierexpress that i won 2000.000.00... i have also send bout $400 canadian for the delivery and they said i was gonna get my winning on feb th 2nd but then i got another email saying my older was stopped by the u.k tax revenue and that i have to pay $1200 dollars more becaouse im not a u.k citizen... so im not sure if all this is true so please tell me what to do...
I am concerned that the courier service is part of this scam as I received 2 emails from them asking for an exorbitant amount for delivert of a piece of paper (a cheque) Their website states that they are aware of this scam and have notified the police and also that they are advising people that contact them that the deal is fraudulent but I received no such advice. By the way I did receive a phone call from a lady who I believe to be of Indian(?) descent due to her accent but as it was 6 am on a Sunday morning she did not get much sense out of me.
For those english speaking recipients just analyse the grammar of the email and that should throw some suspicion on the issue.
