[Resolved]  Expedia.co.in — DON'T use netbanking - their system is crap

Booked an airline ticket using netbanking with Expedia.co.in The money was deducted from my account, but Expedia claimed they never received payment. After 14 days, they cancelled the ticket, but the money was never refunded to my account. So started the merry-go-round of calls with my bank, expedia, etc. Expedia STILL claims they have no record of receiving any money from me, and are trying to blame the bank. The bank, has all the proof stating the money went to Expedia, so it is definitely Expedia's fault. Now I am paying the price because their computers are so crappy that they can't even register a net banking payment.

I still haven't gotten my money back (in the process of working this through), but I'd also like to say what a crappy system of customer support Expedia has. They don't reply to emails, and when you call you never talk to the same person twice, so you have to explain yourself over and over again. It's a really terrible system that is not designed to actually do anything at all.

I would suggest that if you have to use Expedia you use a credit card, so you can block the payment if there are any issues. Because once they have your money, it will become a major hassle to get it back (and who knows if I ever will!)
