I have had 2 IVF proceedures at Dr. Malpani's clinic. My issue with them is the charges for NRI's, they are just not transparent. I was charged a different amount the first time and a higher amount the second time. I demanded to see dr. malpani, for which I had to wait couple of hrs, had to even follow him from one side to the other (if anyone has been to his clinic who will know what I am saying). On asking for an explanation, I was told that by mistake I was charged a lesser amt the last time! I would like to know if anyone who is reading this will take this for an answer. Unfortunately I had no choice but to continue, I was already in mumbai and in middle of my treatment.
I also enquired around with few other patients and we all figured that the clinic is not transparent as far as charges are concerned, especially people who were coming from outside India. (few o[censored]s are still in touch with each other across the globe and are exploring other options/doctors)
We trust the doctors with our life's and medical problems, we are taking the effort to travel all the miles and spend money etc, but once the trust is broken, nothing is the same.
