[Resolved]  Global Infosoft Technologies — Fraud

Recently I got a call from this company, Global Infosoft Technologies from Delhi and they said I have won some cash as I had shopped on their website. They said I won Rs 1.9 lakh, but for that I have to pay 15% (Rs 28,500) as tax upfront so that they can show the income tax authorities that they have made a transaction. I paid it and then later after few days again they said I need to make Rs 19,000 payment (10% of amount). Post that, they again said to pay Rs 19,500 as their commission and then they will release my winnings. However, they kept on giving excuses saying that the money was not able to get transferred as bank limit got over, then after few days they shifted my date and said you will get your money after 5 days on Jan 25, whereas they had first committed to giving the money on Jan 5. So they keep on delaying this with an excuse to try and extract more money from you. On this occasion they said the previous person who made Jan 5 commitement has been fired as he gave wrong commmitment! And when I asked for my money back they said it can take 6 to 10 months as it is in process! Please DO NOT EVER listen to these people if you ever get a call from them and report this to the police immediately otherwise they will defraud many other people like this!! They call from many different numbers[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected], (0)[protected],[protected],[protected], so please be careful and alert!!
