[Resolved]  Gold credit card — Dis-respectful staff

I would like to inform you that a person named Mr.Amit has called me the first time for my settlement of credit card.. Even though i was using a normal tone, he has spoken very roughly and called me a 'CHOR' ! I have only 1 month pending payment, and i had to hear the word "CHOR' being repeated by this person over and over again.

I warned him that i will record and complaint but he did not seem to care and said i could go ahead. I told him that i am having problems paying just now as i dont have a job since last 5 months. I asked him for a better solution of settlement other than the one he was giving for 8 months.. He was trying to dictate terms to me and said 'if i could not pay, i should not have taken a card in the first place' Is this the attitude of your staff? When u want people to take loans of cards, you keep calling up regularly even if not interested and when there is a problem, you engage staff like these to insults your clients?

His tone put me off completely and the way he was raising his volume and talking to me only shocks me as to how a reputed bank like HDFC can employ such people, who talk without any fear of shame of loosing their jobs.. He kept calling my tel no several time and addressed me as "CHOR"

I am going to pay my credit cared dues some way or another, but i want the management to deal with this person so that he does not carry on with such confidence in abusing clients, whether male or female.. A person without any self -respect or respect for others need not be in your service at all.

Please look into this matter immediately as I will be waiting to see what is being done..
