[Resolved]  Goodyear India Ltd — Defective Tyre

I purchased new creta car RJ 14 CZ 9215 from morani hundai jaipur four months ago with good year tyres. The car run only 3000 kms. One rear left side tyre bursted on 23.11.2015 on tonk road near nehru balodyan. The tyre of stepny also had a cut. I reported the matter at service centre of morani hundai baisgodam jaipur and a complaint was lodged at good year with ref. no.[protected] dt.24.11.2015. Spot inspection on 30.11.2015 done by Mr. Sachin vide report No.558106. He observed "On observation found damage on sidewall area due to external hazard/penentration. Tyre does not suffer from any manufacturing defect hence not covered under warranty." I shocked with this decision.
It is surprising that a representative of a company of so repute found both tyres not covering under warranty. When I asked him that if he has any explanation about demage of two tyres within fours months of purchase of new vehicle in normal condition in running in Jaipur city, he assigned this damage as act of god. It is shameful for good year as well as for Hyundai also which claim the vehicle to cross hills, rivers, forest, remote area having rough roads or nol roads.
I request that looking to the reputation & goodwill of the company, pl. order replacement of my both tyres and keep your promise other I will have to knock the doors of a consumer court. I hope I will receive proper response.
