Hello Travel / Great India Travels named company wesite www.greatindiatravels.in offering goa packages in 5 star hotel for 2Nights/3Days in 2999/- only. when i communicated with hotels in goa they said we dont have any such agent to whom we provide such low and fake packages. They are saying to pay amount through online, i dont know uptill now how many customers would have been cheated by them. I hope you take some strict action and stop this malfunctioning. I have been been having a similar frustating experience with Hello Travels. The smooth talking sales folks, promise Hilton and Hyatt with 100% confirmation. I paid an amount of INR 2999 vide transaction id 10291201 and since then have been chasing for various hotels which are on the resort list provided.
1. If I choose a hotel for a date - Ras Resort Silvassa, I am told it is not availabel for that date.
2. If I ask give me any date for the same resort over the next 3 months, I am suddenly told - the contract with that resort is closed - why is it on the list of approved resorts then ?
3. I have asked for dates and location that I can pick out of but I am always sent the standard resort list.
There is a definite fradulent operation running from Hello Travels. This will be evident in the fact that till such time as you make the payment, they will hound you and after making the payment -they dissapear . The names of the people you ask - who have interacted with you earlier - are always on another endless call which will never end if you indicate that you will wait or are on leave. The same person assumes multiple names and different people provide different reasons for no meeting your request.
I believe the plan is to drag in on for 9 months after which your voucher has nayways expired and Hello Travels is not bound to entertain you after that. I would be surprised if they have an employee called "Arun" even.

tht's correct. they were talking so sweet and calling 3-4 times in a day and now after getting the fund in their a/c they are just bluffing. none of them are picking the call. it seems the company is only into duping customer.
Hi, Greatindiatravels.in is a fake sight for wrong information & fool around people, same happened with me. they made me purchase 2 packages promising Philips home theatre & now, when i cal them up they are not picking up the call neither replying on emails.
i am surprised to see such frauds taking shadow as a holiday planner & fake around people, more surprising is they have fraud call centre & people running such a company with a website on net & online payment gateway.
This company should be punished & made to get shutdown, it runs with different names Greatindiatravels, Hell Holidays etc.

I have started believing to all the comments posted by my friends in this site related to Great India Travels. Mine is a recent example of being kept in dark throughout. I got in touch with a sales executive Mr. John Varkey who was very nice and persistent in calling me to buy the deal which sounded to be very attractive and after a lot of attempts from his side and assurance on mail for providing accommodation once i buy the deal, i went ahead buying the deal.
I bought 5499 package on 29th June 2012 only after Mr. John communicated on mail that i will get the accommodation as per my choice from their list of hotels (which was sent to him) which he mentioned has being confirmed from the hotel authorities too. I insisted him to get me the confirmation from the Hotel authorities to double confirm the deal but he told me that i would get once i buy the deal. Then today morning to my surprise i got a call from the Company for verification and they told me that i would not be confirmed of the hotel bookings anytime soon as i have not booked prior to 30 days of my travel. So just to initiate sales and get the funds in their acc., i was miscommunicated and given false promises that as an exception they will consider this case as they had inventory. i have been trying to get in touch with the authorities repeatedly since morning but efforts going in vain as the ppl. are well trained to ignore these complaints by simply disconnecting the lines.
I am still trying to check with them if these guys are really interested in solving the query and continue their travel business or shut it down. Will definitely update you to help you decide whether they can go for this Company or go for other good reliable options and not disturb your blood pressure.

Mr.Gorang(cell no.[protected]) has assured me that i will get holidat booking on14/7/12 to 15/7/12 2 night 3 days for alibaug Maharashtra State if i book today and made payment immedate now i came to that Mr.Gorang false represation/misguide cheated to me that booking will be done after 30 to 45 days to fill up form and same extra charge will be paid through D.D. i was cheated by him, i was inform that please cancelled my booking i.d.9532101 and send mail as i am no more intrested for same due to your"s represenative false statement and commitment only for who to sale u product /package and targeted innocent customer by way of your marketing . On next day When I received call from verification department from greatindiatravel he said no any scheme like above says..no iball or blackberry mobile dispatch from here. Only bag and glass dispatch as a welcome kit.
Then I faced this is all fraud and cheater.
Now, I want all my transfer money back. I don’t want any packages.

I am also a victim of fraud by this company.I was promised that packages are being couriered but despite that it is almost two and a half month and there is no package and gifts as promised have arrived.
I fully agree with you and seems that I have lost my money here and if you all would like to work together by taking legal action or any other action jointly let us do that so that such fraudulent companies be taught a lesson and also may help us to recover our hard earned money.

I just got a call from great India travels, today. They gave me the details & mailed me the information about the voucher. I personally thank you all for saving my money as i was just going to purchase the same tomorrow
I thank you all my friends here, a I just received a call from great India travels. The person called Ravi called & mailed me all the details for the voucher of Rs 2999 for 2 nights-3 days in Goa. Thank god u have saved my money & I suggest all other guys that the best way to purchase a package is through local agents other than online bugglers

Am also been cheated by Great India travels since July 3. I had booked a package of Rs 6999, with payment id 9345996, and was assured I wud get the kit within 3 days, but after 10 days of repeated follow-ups I didn’t get any kit from the Great India travel team.
Before-hand the customer care executive Mr. Rajeev (phone- [protected].) fakely informed me about the discounted air-fare for to and fro travel to Thailand will be given to me for Rs.11500 instead of 15621 (present rate) from Mumbai
airport, visa clearance procedure will also be assisted by their team present at Thailand airport, lunch and dinner cost and sightseeing by hotel transport is also included in my package, and no extra cost will be paid for this package except for the Rs750 Demand Draft.
But On 13th July I got a call from Mr. Sudhir who informed me that I can’t get this package as there is no Blue-Dart service available in my area pincode-392015, and asked my consent, whether to refund the same.
I also agreed for the refund, but the customer care executive asked for my Debit card no., cvv no., validity date and also had asked and taken my pin no. for the refund verification process of my July 3rd Rs.6999 (payment id 9345996) package
Now after receiving of my card details he told that we can deliver the package through DTDC as it is available in your location. But by the mean time they have transacted two more package of Rs.5499(payment id 9580623) on July 13th and Rs.6999(payment id 9595943 ) package on July 14th. . and still yet not refunded me my previous amount but yet fraudly transacted these two more packages without my knowledge. They have also shown me fake attraction like I-phone, black-berry etc for those fakely transacted packages.
Because of this am not in a position to use the account again, and am afraid about any other fraud transaction in future through my this Account no.
On 16th I got a call from the Great India team where they mentioned clearly that they only provide Accommodation and nothing else.
I had also repeatedly mailed all these information to them via email id- [protected]@greatindiatravels.in, and they had also replied for my refund within 10-15 days, but I didn’t receive any within the time period.
Because of all these issues, I consulted INDIAMART team (as Great India Travels is affiliated with them) for my refund and registered a complaint in Grahak Suraksha Kendra, after briefing my fraud details to :

We tried contacting you on the number provided, however was not reachable. Yes, you're right we do provide 2N/3D package in 2999/- in various 3 to 4 star properties across India and not only this we also have a 7N/8D package for 6999. We do have certain Terms & Conditions attached to them, they too are available on the website. Its not necessary that the resorts may have direct tie up with us, we have intermediate vendors to get the bookings closed. There's nothing hidden, entire details regarding the package as well as the TnC are there on the website. You can always avail these packages anytime.
