I agree with the complaints made. I have a super splendor 2008 made, it was giving 55 when it was new, suddenly it dropped to 45's and now it is giving just 37/lit
super splendour is very amazing bikes, my bike giving 55 to 50 km, iam very proud of one of the customer in her honda company, very excellent brakes

the super splendor model of hero honda has a major technical fault that the engine bore kit fails by 30000 kms of running in many cases and by 50000 in most cases... and as a result the milage reduces rapidly to 35kmpl... even the engine oil gets reduced due to this... so its a major problem...

Hero Honda Super Splendour — Not working properly
Hi,I purchased Hero Honda Super spelendour in August 2010 from Bangalore.I am having problem with gear since i purchased this bike.I had been told that it will get resolve after one or two servicing.I have done my 4th servicing and i am facing the same problem.Now i am having problem with self start and chain.I checked with dealer but no positive response.I don't know what to do.

I accept that the Hero Honda is leading manufacturer of motorcycle & new version of Karizma has very handsome feature but i want to advise on the rest model their suspension & sitting arrangement should be better. I HAVE PURCHASED THE SAME VEHICLE IN THE YR-2006 DEC. SINCE IT WAS WORKING GOOD TILL 2011 WHEN THE LAST SERVICING DONE BY THE M/s.MPM AUTO P LTD OF HYDERABAD. ITS BECOME I NIGHTMARE FOR ME! I HAVE VISITED THE SAID AUTO CENTER WITH THE COMPLAINT BUT PROBLEM NOT SOLVED. Hi, This is B.S.Yeka from Hyderabad. I purchased the Super Splendor Quantum core 125 in Feb 2006 from Bhanu Automobiles, Kukatpally, Hyderabad. It is an Excellent and amazing Vehicle. I am getting about 75 kmpl. Now I moved about 95000 kms. So now it is giving about 65 to 70 kmpl. The mileage of any vehicle also depends on the quantum of Petrol also. I use to give the vehicle for servicing in the show room's center only. My suggestion is Super Splendor is not a race bike, but is is an economy vehicle. So the average speed of the Vehicle shall not exceed 50 km per hour. My Vehicle No is AP 29 L 8445.

I HAVE PURCHASE OF HERO HONDA DELEX BIKE ,BUT I HAVE NO SATIFACTION FOR THIS BIKE ,THIS BIKE NO GIVE A AVERAGE AND NOT RIDE VARY WELL , Nothing but the showroom guys screw the mileage down. They don't do a proper servicing.
My 2005 Spl + run just 16000 kms has a rapid decrease in mileage. When mileage tested, it gives 61+, next week, comes to 55, then to 50 then to 40. Showroom guys never look into what exactly what problem is. They simply wash the bike and give it back. they just cheat and eat money. they dont work. Hero Motocorp should ban their dealership first of all. They spoil Hero Honda's name in the market.
