Hero Ultra Velocity — BATTERY NOT WORKING

I HAVE PURCHASED HERO ULTRA VELOCITY ON 28/01/08 FROM PAREKH AUTOMOBILES RAJKOT. IMMIDIATELY AFTER PURCHASING THE MOTOR AND THE CHARGER NOT WORKED THEY REPLACED THE SAME.. ON 3/1/09 I WENT TO THEIR SHOWROOM STATING THE BIKE IS NOT GIVING THE AVERAGE. AFTER FULL CHARGE MY BIKE WORKS TILL 10KMS.. THE COMPANY SAYS THE AVERAGE APPROX 50KMS.. NOW THEY SAY I HAVE TO BUY BATTERY FOR RS. 9500/-.. SO WHAT TO DO?? IT SEEMS I HAVE BEEN CHEATED..

SUB:-Required warranty service for velocity bike bill no. 00198 dt::-30.03.2008 due to warranty service not given by ISHIKA BROTHERS

Dear sir,
With due respect we may mention that we mail you on 24.02.2009 regarding the problem of velocity bike because of non availability of proper spare service of bike in warranty period, number of times we gone to ISHIKA BROTHERS for the problem but always he told please come after few days such a long time has passed in defective bike as we got very bad experience from ISHIKA BROTHERS after that we contact you
You mail us our distributor/service centre will be open shortly in march and you will inform us but we have not received any mail from your side, today we come to know that you have started you distributor M/s ANU ULTRA (Mr Amit Gupta) Hence we go to ANU ULTRA for repair of the bike their he told us your warranty period has been lapse so we are unable to entertain you as a warranty holder, Since we have already discuss with you in warranty period that we are not availing any service which company provides .
In above facts you are requested write to ANU ULTRA he should treat us as a warranty holder for which we will be very thankfull to you as a company regards.<

matlab aap ke delar ke paas bike nahi bik rahe he is liye jo liye he unse paise loot rahe he.

Meri salha ye he ki custmar ko servicing sahi diya je.

HERO ULTRA VELOCITY — Poor service And false promises

I had bought electric bike Velocity (chasis no [protected]) on 28/12/2007 through invoice no. 248 from Aman electronics, Nakodar chowk, Jalandhar. They had promised us that whenever we would be in need of any kind of service regarding any problems with the bike, they would do the needful at our doorstep. But from day one, we have been facing a lot of problems regarding the same. I had bought the bike due to the innovative and cost effective technology but the kind of service we are being provided with is really pathetic

The distributors had proposed us the 3 services of the bike during the first year at our doorstep but at that time also they refused to do so and we had to carry the bike from Kapurthala to jalandhar. In January 2010, the existing batteries of the bike expired and we got it replaced from the company's distributors Dynamic motors, 179-Awaaj Bhawan, Ranjit Nagar, Jalandhar city worth Rs. 7600. They had promised an 8 month warranty period of the batteries. But the batteries have again broken down in june, within a period of even less that 6 months. They have even refused to repair the batteries at our doorstep. If that was not enough, Aman Electronics are demanding cost to get the batteries replaced even when the warranty period isn't over yet. All the invoices are present with us and we even showed the proof when they demanded. And now, they are asking us to get it replaced for cost from ludhiana which is not possible for us to carry a broken down bike till there. We have already spent an additional Rs.[protected] on it's minor repairs regarding some wire problems done within the first year of purchase only from their distributors and not from any other external source or mechanic i.e. within the warranty period of the bike. The distributors said that those parts didn't come under warranty. And when we contacted their representative who had replaced the batteries, he very bluntly refused any kind of service or even a reply saying that he has started working for some other firm and is clueless in this case. We can't afford to pay again for another set of batteries and i had to carry the bike alone in a truck to Aman electronics jalandhar which was very difficult for me and had also to pay for that even after the false promises of doorstep services made by their firm's representatives.

The kind of service being provided by this company is really pathetic and if we had known that earlier we would have never gone for this product. I request you to take necessary action at your end and get the problem resolved. The company is providing such bitter services that is bringing a bad name for it. When we contacted the companies head office, they also very bluntly refused any kind of help.

Kindly provide your suggestions in this regard so that we can take necessary action.
