Homeshop18 — DEFECTIVE GLUMAN STORAGE SET | |||
I had purchased a gluman storage set from the Homeshop18 which were 20 in numbers (12 pieces with free 8 pieces) on 23rd May, 2011. The product was delivered in time with cash on delivery system. After opening the box I found that among the 20 containers, 7 containers were defective. I made a complaint to them they suggested to send the same in a box to their TNT courier, I did that on 28th May, 2011. After few days when I tried to find out the status of my request for replacement of the 7 defective pieces, they told me that the same has been delivered to Mr. Amit on the Ist of June, 2011. With my utter surprise, I called them and requested that there is no one by the name Amit in our house, then they asked me to wait for few days because they were making enquiries. Till 16th of June I made atleast 50-60 calls to them then only they sent a small box saying that this is your replaced products. I told them that I had returned 7 pieces and this small box cannot contain the same, their senior Executive Mr. Chirag said you receive the same and then call us. When I received the same I was shocked to see two old containters full of scraches and that too without lid. I immediately reacted and they suggested to send all the sets available with me to their company i.e. Nakamichi Techno Pvt. Ltd. at Noida. It is surprising that after sale of the product they behave so indifferently which is a cause of concern and I am still doubtful that if I send back the remaining boxes to them, will they send me back the same or not?
