[Resolved]  Homeshop18 — defective item delivered and money is not refunded

i had ordered for product code 698-35 (jewellery set) but when i received it, it was defective and the pearls were all broken,now i have sent it back but i have not received my money as yet,its been more than 15 days now and i am highly upset with the response that i have received from your customer care team.
I have been a regular buyer from home shop 18 and i am forced to say that if i dont get back my money back within a week then i will be compelled to move the court for the same.

Home Shop 18 — MONEY BACK

Actually this is not a complaint.After reading all complaints what type of precautions should i take?
I ordered imedia i 68 mobile .
I received it on 17/09/2009.But found not ok.Screen touch was not operating.
I sent it to banglore at technical center.
& after 7 days (26/09/2009)i got mobile.
But saw the picture ,sound quality , so bad.
When I am receiving any call i cam into fever/tempreture due to loud & unclear sound.
Having to treble to sound no bass setting to speker.
Geeting vibrations when i use the loudspeker.No slilence mode to phone.
Ear phone is not working.picture quality of video not as good as shown on tv.
thats why i want to send the product for refund.

What type of precaution should i take?

this is surely the right thing ... to do my dear because the phn i got was nothing but a big box ... with irritatting sound and no headphones sound ... i a also trying to get my money back wasted on frauds group ...

I CAN SAY THIS WITH UTMOST CERTAINTY EVEN THOUGH I HAVE NEVER USED A SINGLE TELEMARKETED PRODUCT EVER IN MY LIFE, BECAUSE EVERY TIME I CONTEMPLATED TO DO SO, I HAD QUERIES CROPPING UP IN MY MIND AS TO IF THESE PRODUCTS WERE SO VERY FINE IN QUALITY, TECHNOLOGY, PRICING, USAGE, THEN JUST WHY THEY WERE NOT BEING SOLD OUT THERE IN THE SHOWROOMS OR OVER THE COUNTER WHERE ALL THESE CLAIMED ASPECTS CAN BE VERIFIED ON-HAND BY THE PROSPECTIVE BUYER !!! JUST WHAT IS/ARE THE SHORTCOMINGS IN THESE PRODUCTS THAT THEY ARE BEING SOLD THROUGH TELEVISED SHOPPING NETWORKS WHERE THOSE INTERESTED HAVE TO TAKE THE DECISION WHETHER OR NOT TO BUY, BY ONLY HAVING A LOOK OF THE PRODUCT AND NOT BY HAVING A FEEL OF IT THROUGH DEMO.

THEREFORE, WHETHER IN A MALL OR A MARKET OR EVEN IN CASE OF BRANDED PRODUCTS, IT IS ALWAYS RIGHT NOT TO FALL TRAP TO CONVINCING COMMUNICATION SKILLS OF SALES EXECUTIVES AND TO LET THE DOUBTS & QUERIES ABOUT THE PRODUCT/S CROP UP IN MIND SO THAT THEY CAN BE CLARIFIED THEN AND THERE;ITS WORTH ALL THAT TIME IN ORDER TO ESCAPE FROM FRAUDULENT DEALS WITH ENDLESS AND USUALLY FUTILE EFFORTS FOR MONEY BACK, REPLACEMENTS, REPAIRS ETC. ALSO PLEASE DO TAKE CARE TO TAKE AUTHENTIC BILLS WITH CONTACT NUMBERS PRINTED ON THEM. IN CASE OF PAPER SLIP BILLS TAKE DOWN THE CONTACT NUMBER ON THE SLIP AND VERIFY ITS AUTHENTICITY BY DIALING IT RIGHT ON THE SPOT

AND LASTLY PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BE WARY OF ASKING QUESTIONS . DON'T WORRY IT WONT LOWER YOUR STATUS IN THE SALES PERSONS EYES. IF HE CAN WORK FOR BENEFIT OF THE COMPANY HE BELONGS TO THEN SO CAN YOU FOR ESCAPING FINANCIAL LOSSES. ITS YOUR RIGHT AS WELL AS DUTY.
