[Resolved]  Honda Shine Motorbike — Battery Replacement

Hi All,

This is the second time, I am complaining about the battery needing to be replaced in my Motorcycle Honda Shine.Earlier during the 2nd Service Battery was replaced and again now at the 4th Service the battery had gone completely dead in 2 months time. The vehicle had not run much. It is really rediculous.

Today again I was informed by "Naveen" of Dhruvedesh Honda, Gokul Extn. vide Job # JC -6115, that battery needs to be replaced again.

I am really fed up with the battery issue with this vehicle. I have not been able to use the self starter at all at any given point of time.

I request someone to please take this up at the appropriate level, so that there could be some respite for my burden.

I feel I did a big blunder of spending Rs.15000/- extra compared to any other motorbike of the similar make, just to face all these uncalled for burdens.

Hi All,

I purchased Honda Shine Bike on 7th March, 2011 from Dhruvedesh Honda, Makeri Circle, Bangalore.

Just one week after the purchase of Bike, the battery did not work, due to which self start or anything connected to battery did not work.

This was brought to the notice during first service in Dhruvadesh service center, Gokul Extn, Bangalore.

They re-charged the battery, during the first service, but battery again failed and this time they said it has to be replaced and is sent for replacement on 19/04/2011. Till date the battery has not been replaced yet.

I am very sorry to say that, after having purchased this vehicle, paying a good amount of money, compared to any other product of this range, I have to go through this ordeal of kick starting my bike. It takes around 10 kicks to start the bike. I am sure, I don't have to face this.

Request some to please have a look at my issue and revert back to me with an upate on the date when the battery will be replaced. It is been around 3 weeks now.
