Faulty honda amaze

This is with reference to a vehicle I purchased from an authorized HONDA dealership, namely Courtesy Honda, Okhla, New Delhi in October 2024, vehicle no. DL 3C DB 5921.

    My Honda Mobilio car TN57AR6166 was dropped for service at sree krishna automotives, hyderabad, madinaguda outlet on 27.06.2023 and 13.02.2024 for ENGINE OIL Leakage.

    Even after two services still the engine oil leakage persists.

    Today sundaram honda Raniganj, Secunderabad service team confirmed that there is no oil in the engine and the engine oil 6L drained completely, due to engine guard, the oil leakage is not visible for the customer.

    No response from honda customer relation support team.

      Nature of the Issue:
      The infotainment system (Alpine) of my vehicle has been malfunctioning since purchase, causing significant inconvenience. The key issues include:

      GPS Freezing & System Hanging: The GPS stops responding during travel, leading to missed turns and unnecessary detours of 5-10 km due to a frozen navigation system.
      Malfunctioning CarPlay & Phone System: The system randomly freezes, making it impossible to make calls or use essential features.
      Repeated Failure Despite Replacement: The dealer replaced the infotainment unit, yet the same issue persists, indicating a manufacturing defect.
      Deficient After-Sales Service & Harassment:
      I have provided multiple video proofs of the issue, yet Honda and its dealers refuse to acknowledge the defect.
      Repeated dealership visits have wasted my time and fuel, yet there has been no commitment to a permanent resolution.
      Honda’s technical team has visited multiple times at my workplace and home, disturbing my work and personal time, only to collect data without resolving the issue.
      The dealers keep insisting on joint road trials but fail to explain why the video evidence has been ignored.
      Neither dealer nor Honda is taking responsibility for providing a clear solution or compensation for the inconvenience caused.
      Relief Sought:
      I request the Consumer Redressal Forum to take strict action against Honda Cars India and its authorized dealers for selling a defective product and providing deficient service. I seek:

      A permanent resolution to the infotainment system defect with a defined timeline.
      Compensation for the mental harassment, inconvenience, and time wasted due to Honda’s negligence.
      Reimbursement of fuel and travel expenses incurred due to repeated dealership visits and joint road tests.
      Legal action against Honda and the dealers for failing to honor warranty commitments and providing a defective vehicle.

        Cheating by car dealer

        Hello

        I brought honda elevate zx cvt from courtesy honda (lally automobiles india pvt ltd) in wazirpur delhi

        Car booked on 7th December and delivered on 17 december.

        My car Honda Jazz TN 13 J 1767 was given for service on 14th Nov to Olympia Honda in Ambattur Industrial Estate. They were told to change the electric window module.         Due to faulty workmanship during my car repair in Feb2024, Viva Honda Chandivali service center damaged my car's left side front door paint from inside and that eventually resulted into rusting. My car is not even 1 year old.
        My car registration number: 23BH2780J

        Even after knowing its their fault and car being under warranty, the dealer service center is not providing support for rusted part replacement. Instead to cover up, they are trying to take my car for patch work outside without my consent.

        My vehicle is held with Viva Honda Chandivali service center for last 10 days (since 09/Sep/2024) and they are not willing to provide any support with the reported issue.

        Their Service manager Mr. Suresh Pawar and Mr. Nandu Pote do not accept any calls. Their escalation Mr. Mahesh Sawant keeps calling me for physical visits and CRM Kavita Kanojiya is asking me back for the details of coverage of standard warranty. This is customer harassment.
        Honda One-to-one helpline also does nothing, but sends me back to the service center.

        I am really stressed and being skeptical if this dealer/service center really care for Honda cars' promises on quality and consumer support.

          I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at your Honda service center.
          I brought my Honda Jazz to your service center for routine maintenance and requested that your staff check my keys, which were not functioning properly. It is expected for them to order new keys only if the existing ones could not be fixed by replacing the old batteries, that too with a consent post repairs check.

          Upon collecting my vehicle, I was informed that your staff had placed an order for entirely new keys. This action was taken without first attempting the simple and cost-effective solution of replacing the batteries in the existing keys.

          This decision is problematic for several reasons:

          It significantly increases the cost of what could have been a simple battery replacement.
          It disregarded my explicit instructions to check if battery replacement would solve the issue first.
          It unnecessarily delays the resolution of my initial problem.

          I request that you:
          Not consider the order placed for new keys by the service agent.
          Provide an explanation for why battery replacement was not attempted before ordering new keys.
          Ensure that your staff follows customer instructions and repair process more carefully in the future.

          As a loyal Honda customer, I expect a higher standard of service and better attention to customer requests. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution of this matter.

            In my last paid service of car MH12LD0685 (registered under my brother's name Sunny Purswani) @crystal honda wagholi (Pune) which costed me approx 10K INR all of a sudden my front suspension have started making noise and are wobbling where in same was not the case of prior giving my vehicle for servicing. This observation was shared with me last year and things have been smooth with my car as I'm the single driver who drives this car. On pointing out the same to the crystal honda wagholi service advisor, he pointed out that last year we had shared the same and you have to replace the part. I reminded him that the same wasn't there before I gave my car for servicing, he started making false statements. I also pointed out to check with the driver who picked up and dropped my car, as he pointed out the same concern while dropping the car. But to my surprise the same driver disappears all of a sudden. Post that I did speak with the GM about my concerns and instead of providing me with the solution, he gave me an alternative of providing some discount on the labour charges for replacing the part.

                    My car had a small accident on 9th December, resulting in some damages to trunk, bonnet, etc. I was asked to pay 20k advance on 10th, car was picked on 17th and estimated completion date was 20th.

                    Overall summary of complaints:

                    1. Deliberately misguiding the customer that it is capable of completing the repair / replacement work (such as, the car will be brand new showroom condition in 3-4 days, etc.)
                    2. Collecting initial advance of Rs. 20, 000 and still not ordering spare parts.
                    3. Misguiding the customer on the status of work (such as spare parts ordered, work is in progress etc.) when nothing was done so far
                    4. Fraudulently supplying Old Damaged parts as brand new ones

                    Details:

                    First, the manager kept giving excuses, demanding an extension of 2-3 days every time, called us to collect the car, but the car was never even close to ready. He always gave some lame excuse every time, such as 'workers on leave', 'delivery of parts delayed', 'new damaged part found' (he himself conducted pre-inspection and collected money for that), etc.

                    Second, 20-25 days later, after postponing for the 6th time, he said he placed an order for parts (on 2nd January, 23 days after advance was paid), but it was later found that he was misleading us again. In reality, he has not ordered anything till now.

                    Third, on 29th, he tried to install damaged parts as brand new in my car. We came to know this because my father accidentally visited to collect the car. This is a clear case of FRAUD.

                      I bought my Honda Amaze (1.5 VX I-DTEC BS-VI) in August 2018; the performance had been satisfactory for the first 4 years. This year from February 2023 I started observing iron rusts around all the four doors and is spreading very fast all across the doors.
                      I had a detailed survey conducted at the Brigade Honda Bangalore dealer showroom from where I bought my vehicle.
                      Post the survey, after 10 days I get a communication from Regional Manager Escalations North/South, Team Customer Relations, Honda Cars India Ltd., Greater Noida with following comments:
                      HCIL comment 1. That it has been determined that the rusting observed is a result of external factors and cannot be attributed to any manufacturing defect.
                      HCIL comment 2. We believe it is essential to clarify that oxidation and rust, being natural consequences of metal, are considered typical wear and tear and, without limiting the car's age, are not covered under the standard or extended warranty.
                      HCIL comment 3: However, in consideration of your long-standing association with the Honda brand, we are advising our dealership to provide you with a discount on the necessary repairs. Please note that this decision is solely at the discretion of the dealership. When contacted dealer, the response was, no such discounts can be extended on the repairs.
                      Firstly, what gives a conclusion, is the fact that Honda Cars, being a very renowned brand can also use SUB -STANDARD steel parts and accessories which resulted in the doors getting iron rusted/corroded.
                      Based on the response from the Regional Manager Escalations North/South, Team Customer Relations, Honda Cars India Ltd., Greater Noida what is evident is the post sales treatment they extend to the so-called term used by Honda Cars India ""Being a privileged customer" is not what they really mean when they want to sell a product to a customer, because the same seriousness is not shown when escalations/complaints are raised OR more relatively to state ...it's just another customer for Honda Cars to up their sales.
                      However, the response to my complaint as addressed by Regional Manager Escalations North/South, Team Customer Relations, Honda Cars India Ltd., Greater Noida forces me not to recommend any product of Honda Cars India to others.
                      I trust the Head of customer grievances team can take this complaint into cognizant and control such manufacturing defects and avoid misleading the customers in the name of external factor results.
