[Resolved] Hotel Express International — Hotel Express International Scam | |||
Hotel Express International is dumping people in false memeberships. Once you purchase the membership they start giving you all sort of reasoning and would never go ahead with your booking. I kindly advice everyone to stay of of any membership of Hotel Express international. We had purchase 2 memberships in our family but within a month we realised thye mistake we commited. At the time of buying membership they promised lot of offering then later they denied all those. Well I myself always check the company repuration and had seen quite a few complaints against the comapy, but the sales person insists that there are people who are against us hence these are posted by those people. Well off late after lot of argument and follow up , the Mr Vivek ,VP of the compay agree to refund us our money but still we are awaiting for the refund. Was this information helpful? | |||

I agree with whatever has been mentioned below. I have also faced the same thing. Its not run by people who are trustworthy its a group of frauds who are just making fool out of people and cheating them of their money

We will like to bring to your notice that the remarks posted by Mr Anuj & Amish Agarwal are false.How can any individual label a company or individual that they are frauds?
These guys got Hotel Express International membership card with resturant offers.There were vouchers of food and Hotel express international 50% discount and promotional holiday offers in this membership package.We have commited these two members and also all our members that we are here to take care of services of Hotel Express International for our members and we have done everything to ensure that my members get what have been commited to them while giving these membership. We wanted them to use our services and then say that we are not trustworthy or frauds but these guys feel otherwise.We kept on convincing them for using our services and we did take all responsiblity of our services by calls and written mails to them but they did not agree to it and without using any services labled company as fraud.We can only try and convince a person to use our services but if someone is not ready to avail services and bent of labelling companies fraud and not trusrtworthy then I am not sure what we can reply them.

I totally agree with the Agarwals, as we have also been duped by a guy called Vern who works at the Cape Town Office.
He convinced us to purchase the International package (not resturants), but still we can't seem to book anywhere that we desire. It always comes up as fully booked. And why is it that we can't book directly with the hotel?, but have to go via Hotel express and if we don't then the discount falls away!
We are also very irate and would appreciate it if Vivek would come back to me if they are really not fruadsters!!!

I myself purchased the membership and always inform the reservation in advance atleast a month before. I think people should know to organise there tours. Sometimes it can happen u cant get a booking immediately but i really appreciate the help I get from Hotel Express International, Delhi.

I also bought one of these. I was surprised with the problems since I had been member in Singapore for years without problems and lots of savings. What I found out is that it is a company in India run by Vivek Dixit which sell illegal copies of cards so when I tried to register on the international web site it was not valid. If you go to their web site www.hotel-express.com it is no office for India listed. It`s like if you buy pirate copies of a product on the street. Then you can`t blame the real brand. I contacted the real Hotel Express office about this and they treated me really good. They just want to stop this illegal printing in India as well. So if you buy from their International web site no problem -if you buy from the Indian web site or sales people beware since the cards are not legal. They are selling it also branded with the logo from a hotel chain and have copied their logo as well. I assume Hotel Express together with this hotel brand plan to take legal actions against Vivek Dixit and his company.

I only have these words... Hotel express is a scam. They actually charged me a higher rate than the hotel rate while on the other hand they said there was no accommodation when I wanted reservation to book me but I called the hotel & was offered a room (without their discount)

I do not understand their capetown branch, they seem to be in a habit of forcing people to stay on board even if one is cancelling membership. They refused to cancel my membership within hours and told me they run a legitimate business yet they have no terms and conditions and refuse to let people make their decisions threatening to take us credit bureau... How legit is that? One should be allowed to withdraw before a certain period at least 3months
I was promised discounts up to 50% on hotel rates. However, almost every hotel I'm trying to book from the Netherlands to France has often a higher rate than the regular rate of the hotel itself. The hotels themselves even offer cheaper rates in their promotions. If there is any difference in rate, it is never more than a few euro's and then if you want to make a reservation through Hotel Express you have to pay at least 15 euro's extra. In the end, you're paying more than the hotel is asking for! Scam! If you don't want to book through their online booking system, they tell you to contact the hotel directly and book it with them, but most of them do not even know about this membership!! I feel betrayed and scammed, even when I'm trying to end my membership and get a refund the organisation hotel express ignores my requests and only gives answers to questions I did not even ask. This is a scam. It does not matter if you paid a huge amount of a small amount for this membership, the membership does not include anything promised. I strongly advise you not to buy this membership, you will be fooled and disappointed. I have never been scammed this way in my life. Don't get into business with hotelpas.com nor hotel express.com!!

I purchased a hotel express international membership and after having no luck in booking any of the hotels that I desired that were listed on their website, I contacted the hotels directly.

Hotel express is the absolute biggest scam!!!

On Tuesday 12/05/2015 I received several calls from Nelly Stoffel trying to sell me 'something' saying I was "selected client". She didn't tell me WHO selected me, I asked, didn't say WHAT company she is representing. I told her I am not interested, she kept phoning. On Friday 15/05/2015 after 15h20 she phoned again and explained to me that if I agree I will get discount on several deals because I am 'Senior Citizen', they will give me a Platinum card, I told her I've 'enough' cards and there's a bank-fee's to pay so I really don't want it. She never gave up, she said it's only a yearly fee (not mentioning the fee)+ if she did you couldn't hear the exact amount .To me it sounded almost like a type of E-bucks card. In the end I agreed.She said they will send me immediately an e-mail to confirm (I never up to date received e-mail) she asked for my credit card details which I foolishly gave her! Within the hour R5 963 was withdrawn from my Credit card with reference "Hotel Express International!!" Cell no she gave is[protected] or work[protected]. I contact Nedbank control center + they stopped card + send dispute form, I faxed it back. Can you please look into the matter?
