housing finance — IMPROPER ATTENTION

Sir,
Ref:- Housing Advance A/C No.[protected] at S.B.H Anantapur Branch.
I, have the honour to state the following for your kind consideration and sympathetic action please.
a) that I have availed Housing Advance Rs.1,00,000/- from SBH Main Branch, Anantapur. As per agreement the repayment tenor is for 120 months and EMI is Rs.1340/- per month. As usual I have pledged my property document and link document as a security to the Future Liability.
b) that in addition to the above I have also pledged the following LIC Policies as an additional security :
S.No. Policy No. Sum Assured Remarks
01 [protected] 50,000/- Due for Survival Benefit on 28.02.2010
02 [protected] 25,000/- Due for Maturity on 15.03.2010
(Both are on conditional Assignment to SBH).
c) As per the norms LIC has sent discharge voucher in both the cases one month in advance to the due date requesting for sending policies alongwith voucher duly discharged. I myself verified LIC dispatch register only to confirm the above.
d) That on 22.03.2010 when I went to Bank the authorities have told me that they have not received such communication from LIC. Any how on 22.03.2010 itself I went to LIC took another set of discharge voucher and handed over to Bank Branch. The said voucher with policy were sent to LIC only on 04.04.2010 that too only when I sent a representation on my behalf. On 07.04.2010 LIC has sent a cheque for Rs.45,675/- as against Maturity value of policy No.[protected] To my surprise there was no action till 13.04.2010. It was only on 13.04.2010 that after my phone call to Bank an amount of Rs.32,384/- was credited to my SB account. The reason the authorities have given me that they are unaware of SB A/c No. Sir, in this regard I have given slanding instructions at the time of availing loan to deduct Monthly EMI from my SB account with a promise to maintain required balance in SB A/c. accordingly EMI is deducted for the past 90 months. By seeing the lesser credit to my SB account than what was the maturity value I was of the opinion that the loan account is foreclosed and on 16.04.2010, when I approached the Banks branch to withdraw property documents LIC policy my loan account was still showing balance and as such I couldn’t take my property documents.
e) Once I am very regular in repayment of EMI what made Bank to foreclose advance account is not understood. Secondly there exists sufficient security for Future liability i.e., the property documents and one more LIC policy (Policy No.[protected], with its surrender value more than Future liability.
f) This way my sufferings are endless and because of these actions by the Bank my financial planning is totally disturbed and I am mentally agonized. As an employee of leading NBFC we give higher values to the customer care. In this regard I am not asking for any compensation but to leave a question “are this action to a respected customer is justified?”
Thanking you sir,

Yours faithfully.
