Handset was been purchased with motive one of outstanding Bussiness Mobile phone with Extreme Feature as compared to other handset in market .

On 24 April 2008 handset stop working all of sudden and not booting up.Issue was discussed with Shop owner were handset was purchased from they were not even ready to listen to my query & Blindly told to visit Service Centre in Okhla Phase -11 which is nearly 90 Kms from my place.

With my experience in Electronic Industry for last 7 Yrs working with one of Hardware Giants IBM as Manager Tech Dept hope have good understanding of these devices as suggest by Jumbo Electronic duly visited RT outsourcing Phase-II after several visit to them Finally dated 28 July 2008 after raising to Consumer Forum Ref No_147690 for mentioned issue Service centre helped me for checking Handset . On 28 July 2008 Engg (Sanjeet)diagnosed Handset and found faulty Mobile hardware due to which handset was not responding.

Issue Discussed with Service Centre
No Charging Indication.
No Handset Response.
Routine Battery Checked & Rebooted no go.
Finally i was told HTC handset is having Faulty Mother Board which needs to be replaced & they shall Take 15 days time for replacement of motherboard thus handset was submitted with Call Reg No[protected] with Original IMEI no-[protected].
Now RT outsourcing service centre helped me in new manner with several visit to them to collect Handset with again wastage of money for no fault of mine.

Dated 4 Aug 2008 (Nearly 1.5 Month)handset was provided to me without Quality check due to there Time restriction and told to visit in case of any Problem with New motherboard with IMEI No-[protected] .

Now again on 20 March 2009 handset stopped working and same clause again to visit service centre to get the same issue resolved Shop owner not ready to help & service Centre asking for 15, 000 Rs to get M.B replaced as it is not in warranty.

I am having same problem with HTCP3300 purchased in Jan 2008. Stop working in Feb 2009. Company service centre at Surat informed replacement of mother boardexperience is bad towards with HTC.
Dear Sir,

I had purchased a HTC mobile phone, model number Desire 526G + on[protected]. Only after 1.5 months after the purchase I observed that there was a speaker problem in my handset. I took my mobile to the store from where i had purchased and rightly so the store keeper advised me to report the problem at the HTC authorized service center in Kolkata. On my visit to the Htc Service center a E mall, Kolkata i was astonished to seethe way they dealt with a minor problem such as the handset speaker gone bad. They very surprisingly asked me to deposit my handset with them for minimum 20 days as they have this absurd policy of ordering a spare part from some other city only when a customer deposits a set with them. It is impossible for anyone to deposit their mobile for 20 days and that too for a problem which is as minor as a speaker going bad. How ever, after much deliberation they agreed to order a spare part for my mobile and asked me to contact their customer care after 5 days to check up with the status against the ticket number the had given me (15IND[protected]. I had called their customer care no after 5 days and to add to my agony the customer care executive had no satisfactory reply to my very direct question that when will the spare part of my handset arrive? She rather kept on repeating that it will take time as they have to order a spare from some other city. On my request to them to give me a timeframe as to when will the spare arrive as understandbly I am facing a big difficulty in using my phone, she came up with a very uncertain reply, she again askedme to call them after 5 days and that too just to check if my handset spare has been delivered or not. Honestly, i am not complaining in the context that why has the speaker of my handset gone bad? as i completely understand that things can certainly go bad with any electronic device. But the way a company like HTC is dealing and treating a customer in resolving such issues is completely unacceptable. I now sincerely hope that filing this complaint will be of some help and at least speed up the proccess in resolving my issue.
