[Resolved] HTC — LCD Screen Defect

I have bought the given mobile on 29/06/08, One fine day October 1, the screen got blurred and started deterorating. On contacting HTC Contact Center, it was advised to visit nearest service center and they asked for INR 4100.00 for the repair, stating LCD damage is not covered under warrant. Since then i had multiple futile mail exchange with HTC. Please let me know how can i take this forward and want to file a case against HTC for this type of response and care less ness. i bought htc cruise from mobile shop in egypt in 26 january 2009
i noticed short, regular parrallel green lines in top of screen
the device was not fallen or broken and rest of screen is intact and no scratches on the upper part that form these lines or in entire device.
in 14 january 2010 i went to jovi tronix(sole agent in egypt)to get it repaired as it is covered for 1 year warranty and they said it is broken and will cost 570 L.E so, i wanted it to be examined by skilled specialist to know what is the problem
and i recieved it today[protected]and they said it cant be repaired as it is not a problem of manufacturing(not really sure it was opened and examined)
my device was not fallen, scratched or fallen in water or anything causing damaging and the cover of screen is intact

have HTC p3400i the mobile is getting charged without attaching the charger and it's showing as 100%(false percentage) charging when i use more than 5hrs phone is getting switched off, plz let me know what possibly could be the reason for this, from where can i get it fixed, i am native andhra pradesh?????
