[Resolved] HTC / P3400i — Cheating
I had problem with my HTC P3400i and i gave it for servicing at Channel9(A private store) as it was close to my house.They gave it back to me saying that the problem couldnt be rectified. I later gave the phone to HTC service center(Ovez communications) bangalore where they said that they would call back the next day to update the status of the phone.They didnt call back.after 2 days i called them on phone and they dont know what the problem is on the mobile. again i called them after 3 more days.The manager Mr.Abdul razzak picked up the call and told that it was a holiday and he was the only guy working there at that time. again he doesnt know what the problem is on the mobile. later after some more days i called the HTC service center when the manager himself told that the problem was with motherboard and he told that the warranty has expired online and told that it couldn’t be repaired as motherboard costs 70 percent of the mobile phone cost and asked me to get the mobile bill, He also told me that he would replace the motherboard if i get the bill.
I go there with the bill and the receptionist gave me the phone saying that it is liquid damage(Am like WTF!! i ve not dropped it anywhere in water and also they didnt mention anything when i first gave them the phone as there was no colour change of the sticker and also when i spoke with them on phone that was not mentioned).I told them that i ve not dropped it in water and am very sure of it. Later Mr.Abdul razzak takes the phone enters the lab area and did somethin.He came back and told me that somethin inside is tampered and it is voilation of warranty.He told that it might be done by Channel9 people(Why is he telling me that now....only reason is i denied the liquid damage thing...I think he went inside and tampered that).I am seriously hurt with this incident.I have lost my respect for HTC Bangalore center and more over i ve lost my HTC P3400i gifted by my girl friend.HTC Bangalore service center(Ovez communications) is horrible.
