HTC Touch Phone — what does this mean? [mb--can not power on, bezel, housing -- BROKEN VOID STICKER . pic have been taken]"

Hi!

My HTC touch phone stopped working all of sudden. It completely went dead and i would never swtich it ON after that. My phone's under warranty. When i sent the phone to HTC service center, they came back with huge repair cost($155) and a statment like the below

"Diagnosis:
[mb--can not power on, bezel, housing -- BROKEN VOID STICKER . pic have been taken]"

what does this mean? i am drop dead by this. Gosh! is this the price i have to pay for buying a HTC phone.

Can anyone suggest how to go about this?
