IBP — Measurement
When filling petrol on 16-05-10 at IBP Auto Services, Retail Outlet at JLN Marg, Jaipur, it was noticed that measurement is not correct. The meter continued running, when the filling nozzle valve was closed & it was taken out of the car. It indicated about 0.5 L extra. Not responded by the inspector when contacted.R K Arora.

Yes, this absolutly correct. Me and my friends have the same experience from this pump.
HI guys, today was the day when i caught IBP kormangala(Bangalore) guys cheating. one guy came over to me to get the credit card and asked me to come over with him to the swipe machine, when i was not looking, the other guy stop fueling the car (i had asked for Rs 1500, he stopped at 1200), but i sensed something was wrong, i immediately went back to the machine and asked him why he stopped fueling the car, he said "the tank is full and so it auto stopped"!!!
i told him that the tank is empty and its has the capacity of 35 ltrs and for 1500 i would get some 24 ltrs only.., sensing that i had caught him, he asked the other guy to rest the machine for the rest of 300 and start fueling, and then he ran away leaving things to the new guy., they were almost successful in swindling me of Rs 300 worth of fuel
This is not the first time IBP pump guys are doing this..!! they did the same at the ORR station as well.
I would suggest no one should fuel their vehicle at the IBP stations.
the are a bunch of crooks running the show and steal your hard earned money.
I wish we has stronger laws to punish such people in our country .
i was saved may be they will be successful in doing it some other poor guy.
and i am sure they will be doing it on daily basis.

IBP — cheating petrol measure
I am seeing this malpractice/cheating by IBP petrol bunk namely SINDHU AUTO SERVICES 80ft road near Seetha circle Bangalore ( Banashankari Area) It happens like this, infact I myself experianced it 3 times now. When ever the petrol pump see vehicle asking for bulk quantity, they simply run the machine and say "sir 200Rs worth loaded," then you say that i want full tank or what ever. they will again start machine and fill. It is surprising that inspite of clearly giving instructions, the boy always fils 200Rs first. I have shouted 2 times at my loudes voice, then the supervisor comes and says dont worry sir, I will cut this 200Rs from his salary and charges me for the amount filled later. This is going on in this petrol pump relentlessly. I think all the staff working in this pump are party to the cheating and they share later. Please make this complaint to reach the conerned and have vigilance team check and punish these unscruplous people who cheat general public everyday.thanks
