[Resolved]  IBSN — IBSN Cheats

At the time of filling you receive many emails & phone calls on a daily basis until you file with them. If you are filling and have not make a payment, with even a one liner mail, you are assured to get multiple responses. After that its you who has to follow up without getting any response. Their phone numbers are mostly unreachable. Nobody responds through email/ online.
I filled my US Tax returns through IBSN.
I am currently staying in India and filled my US tax returns through IBSN. IBSN gave their US address since I don’t have any contact address in US; they received the return checks from US govt in a timely manner. They received one check in December, 2008 and other checks in Feb/ Mar (2009) timeframe.
They are not sending me those checks; It looks like somehow they encashed them and consumed all the money. They are not responding to any communications - emails, online communication process through their websites, or Phone. When ever I get somebody on phone, the person would just say that he wouId get back to me in few hours. Dollar rates are also coming down. I have already lost so much money already. It is really becoming frustrating not getting any response from these guys. Please send my IT retrun checks...

This Co. is a big cheater and they hire employees on tax season and filing returns without any fear and breaking all rules of IRS as all e-filing is done by simple graduates not CPA just taking signature for formality bases. Lots of error on return and not refunding client money. I am employee of IBSN and suffering badly as they are not paying salary on time and if any one ask for delay in salary they will terminate them. No polices of co. all employees are suffering not paying overtime people working for 20-20 hours on tax season not allowing people to go home and normal shift hours of 10 hours and never pay salary on time.
ANd before receiving money from clients they call them daily but after receiving money they never respond to client and give instruction to employees no need to follow after TAx season. All employees are suffering but not speaking as if somebody will speak they will terminate the employees.

I dont know how license were alloted for these co. CLient information URL can be open anywhere . No security. And on delhi branch 3 office are running on same floor no cameras easily information can lickout.
Provind wrong info. to client not assisting them after receiving money from them and never return any excess amount received from client. This is my advise to all Indian citizen who working in US never file your return this is a fraud co. and never assist after receiving money ask any old client. And return filing with new employees every season as they hire on contract bases on season time or hire people having hire degree and terminate them after season.
DOnt file return for Indian Taxation as the SARAL software they have for Indian taxation is having few problems but they will hide all the things.

Totally agreed, I am working here as STPM they are not treated their employee like slaves. Dont file return for few refund as this you will get with all wrong info.
Well i totally agree with the comment of latika, IBSN is a cheat, and giving there employees totally inhuman tratment.
It is a LALA based company, managed by a hyderabadi family
claiming them as one of the most prestigious in terms of services they are rendering and all the stuffs
but reality is here

the guys filing the return are hired on temporary basis 90% of the staff is dissatisfied with the policies of the company as they even don't have the HR manuals,
some wont respond to the queries raised by there employees.

special thing they are witdtholding 40% of the salary of staff(except STPM) and will promise to return it back on the specified date and will never do that, they will return it on monthly basis that too after you start crying for the salary every now and then.and if your voice is the most you will be terminated

Apart from all the problems of the staff, IBSN never cares about the clients as they are of no use and juniors are not supposed to respond to clients after they have paid the money to IBSN. These things are generally realised by the clients later on.
They terminate without giving any proper reasons as well they dont pay money that is due on the company.


ABOUT THE QUALITY OF THE WORKFORCE:
simple graduates.(90%) of the staff.
in tax season ca ( inter) as they generally go themself for appearing for there final after 15 april.(by the time there work is done ).
the person working here dont know how to speak in english.

MR.Rupesh although you are working as an STPM in IBSN can you please have a look on what you have written and can you please explain, what you have written.

I think you have written wrong english please go and have some tutions on english..please do not mind it but you are a duffer in short.
Worst company to work with. They should have told their employees that they r hiring for Tax season only before hiring but they do not do like this and act smartly. Actually they cheat people in very smarter way. They hire for full employment by givin advertisement in leading newspaper and then put people on 3 months training period and 9 months probation period. smartly mention in offer letter that employee has to give 3 months notice period before leaving but company can terminate in probation period without any notice. in this way employee is bonded to serve for atleast 3 months after joining i.e company get employee for TAX Season and after that they terminate employees without any notice and by cheating take their I-cards. they do not give the salary of that last month and also the withholding of 3 months. Actually they give only 60% of the CTC to employee and rest they keep with themselves and never give to employees.I am working as STPM so It is hard for me to tell inside story but I am revealing this secret on this blog. please think twice before joining this company phir baad mein mujhe gaaliyan nikalne se kuch nahin hoga...

I filed my return with this co. and had a very bad experience as I paid in error $5000 to this co. but this co. still not refunded my amount. I will sue this co. and advise all US citizen and INdian Citizen not file return from this co.. There are lots of other co. you can go there but never file your return from this co.
I Filed my return with this cheat company, earlier they said that they are doing planning fo something later they reaveled that they want $10000 as thing for irs and charged hefty amount for planning.This is a company.

I have recently been promoted as Director in the company. This company is a sham and Fraud. It employs PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE LIKE CA, ICWA, MBA, CS AND ANY OTHER PERSON WHO CAN LEARN US TAXATION AND WORK EFFICIENTLY . They promise that the salary WILL BE GIVEN 60% DURING THE TAX SEASON FOR THREE MONTHS AND THE REST WILL BE CREDITED ON 30TH APRIL OF THE YEAR BUT IT NEVER HAPPENS .

I also had some experience with IBSN. He did not send the Passport copy along with the ITIN application.So the ITIN application got rejected from IRS. They have sent my details again.Till now i did not any response yet. Can some one quide me on this?
IBSN is a fraud company. Sincerely advise each of you not to file your taxes through them. You just wont get you money.

I request everyone who wish to post their comments here to first attempt expressing their voice to my personal attention and if any of their issues are unresolved, they are free to post their messages anywhere. However, it is very painful for a professional / and a professional firm to bear any of these disparaging comments. Abusing is simple. But personally, it is very painful for me to read some of the postings made by the employees who have not understood how damaging it is to comment on public forums... Everyone may please note, we are all professional working for a common cause - for the betterment of everyone - Any company will face its road blocks or challenges but passing distrustful, unfaithful, farce comments in public forums not only causes brutal harm to the company but to one's personal career also...

I do not know whether I should pardon or forbear these comments that I have read from some - I am definitely going to investigate who the writer is and would do nothing but complain to the persons who blessed them a life requesting that they should at least preach their kin to not to do this harm to their future employers.

This is my 2nd year with IBSN for filing my US Tax. For me I have paid extra fee of $300. And IBSN has told me that they will give me back. But it is almost more than 3 months but I havent got any. I have sent around 10 mails and 100 phone calls but answer is very soon we will give you back, first they told early June, then July 1st week and finally they told me July19. Ok I waited with patience. But nothing happened even to my escalated issues sections under their site, they are not responding back. today When I called they after listening my name they are cutting the phone. This was the end to my patience, so I looked for some forum where I can share my experience. Mr.Laxmi if you are genuine you can ask your stuff or check the IBSN mail, you will know how bad service you had to your client. I will send you a mail to hope that whatever you have written above are true and you are going to take some real action to solve my problem. I dont want to say that IBSN is cheat company but what happened with me is not good.
Laxmi has replied to all the bad remarks about IBSN and himself...But this has refrained from from the allegations about the Pay witholding that IBSN does on a regular basis . It has a very unique way of not paying the employees after the tax season gets over.
Why does it want to HIRE SO MANNY PEOPLE ( IT HIRED 450 EMPLOYEES IN JANUARY 2009 AND TERMINATED ALMOST ALL OF THEM AFTER THE TAX SEASON IN APRIL ), when it does not have the ability to pay their salaries / DOES NOT WANT TO PAY...CITING RECESSION AS A CAUSE.

WAS THERE NO RECESSION WHEN IT HIRED SO MANNY PEOPLE IN JANUARY 2009.

AS OF NOW IBSN IS PAYING ONLY 50 % OF THE SALARY MENTIONED ON THE APPOINTMENT LETTER... THAT TO IN INSTALMENTS OF 50 % AND 25 % ...FOR e.g PREVIOUS MONTH SALARY WOULD BE PAID 50 % ON THE 15TH OF NEXT AND THE BALANCE WOULD BE PAID 25 % IN 3RD AND 4 TH WEEK ...

CAN ANYONE BELIEVE THIS !!! HA HA HA

AND THEY CALL THEMSELVES AN ORGANISATION !!!
i think IBSN is a frod company . does the government know all about this? just answer to my question.

1000 of such complaints are against you and your employees, and your insane policies regarding terminating of the already hired professionals.

All of these allegations against you and your organization can not be 100% wrong. There is something fishy??????

Have you ever confronted a situation that Employees and even the Chief Arc of the organization replying on the Public Forums. (To definitely dissatisfied Employees, {Terminated Employees also}, Customers of the organization).

Why you can sought out the matter on your private e mails?

I am not here to give advice for your organization and you because I don’t have interest in you and your organization.
But I would like to awake the masses (related to the company Employees or the Customers) be careful and investigate properly before being in relationship with these type of companies by any means.

At least have some dignity and respect for our profession.

I am one of the ministers. In the Government. I have visited US several times. its sorry to say that these people are loose. If all of you refer them to police like commissioner of ECONOMIC offence delhi or to a proper Police authority both in US and in India some action will definately be taken. I am catching up to hand these people to police.
They robbed me and my wife to a sum of 500000 Rupees. These people must be handle to police and only by Police.

I DO AGREE WITH THE COMPLAINS. THE PROBLEM WITH LPP is
(I) TO MANAGE THE FUND AND
(II) HAVING LESS TRANSPARANCY and inadequate planning.
(III) At any cost work to be done in any manner.

I have pointed out specially LLP name because he is representing whole IBSN.

(I) TO MANAGE THE FUND
He is trying to find out new businesses. But the most of the person sitting at higher management level are non qualified persons. He has started hiring some qualified persons like C.A., IIMS, and ISB graduate. But most of them are fresher and being headed by non qualified persons. The most interested thing about the management is they don't have the vision to look forward. They are only looking the short term benefit. They are so inefficient that they are using short term fund for long term decision and vice versa.

(II) HAVING LESS TRANSPARANCY and inadequate planning.

The lack of transparency is the most dangerous thing. It may bring IBSN in jeopardy.
(1)They came with self directed IRA plan. It was highly appreciable work done by IBSN because it is used by many tax professionals as tax saving tool. But the problem with LPP was He came without proper planning. No one knows the exact procedure for formation of limited liability partnership. The interesting thing was every employee was informed about the investment plan of SDIRA. But no one knows the procedure of investment. How the gold will be purchased and valued and how it would be physically kept. No one knows how to send money to Indian friends and others. In this the proper documentation is required but that was ignored. LPP started it with inadequate planning and at last it was taken back. They didn’t even think that it was essential to show the fact of investment in SDIRA in the Tax Summary. They just wanted to earn more and more money in little span of time. Instead of having the best plan in hand they were unable to manage. This was nothing but improper planning.

(2)They don’t have the quality control department. I don’t know whether LPP knows about quality control or not. For implementing quality they have to recruit at least C.A. or CPA. But who bother about this because they know when the return is trapped in scrutiny.

(3)Even most of the employee doesn’t know who management is. Because everybody understood LPP and his wife and brother-in law as the owner of the company and others as management. God knows.

(4) Mr. Ravi Darba announced in the month of April that IBSN was about to get 450, 000 Indian individual income tax return. But when Indian tax season started everything was only promise and promise. This is again the effect of improper planning. For this purpose they appointed IIMs but in MAY and JUNE. Obviously they cannot do any miracle in such a short span of time. But still they had done their best. They had made good rapport with some of big Indian industrial client. At least due to them they came to about IBSN. I appreciate those IIMs boys. I think for not getting such number of return our marketing head should be terminated and Mr. Ravi Darba should be reprimanded for this act. Instead of salary cutting, company should look into the reason for failure and should correct it.

(5)They appointed new HR manager. Everybody knows about his innocent behavior and inadequate experience of HR.

(6)Now IBSN has the most talented employees but company doesn’t know the talent management. Even after terminating huge number of employee they are unable to pay full salary to those. Why this? Means they are again not transparent. It’s better to terminate some more highly paid employee. If they will not terminate them, one day (within one to two month) they all will resign and IBSN remain with the garbage.

(7)They know that they have to pay withholding but they didn’t make any provision for that and didn’t pay it. How fool management are. Totally inefficient.

(8)In all of the termination cases they did not provide reason for termination.

(9)They earned a lot of money in US tax season. When LPP and their sibling can survive with those money then why are they cutting the salary and not paying the salary.

(III) At any cost work to be done in any manner.
In most of the cases IBSN employees are informed that work should be completed at any cost. This is normally done in most of company. But the idea of work to be done is very unique in IBSN. Like

(1) They don’t have proper customer support system; these works are normally done by middle management of IBSN. All phones are routed to them. Instead of working properly they were normally engaged on phone.

(2) Without proper training all ARE’s explained to client about SDIRA (The one of the complex thing in US).

(3) If someone receive any call of client regarding past year query. From CSA to STA don’t know the concern person extension number. Even TPM and STPM are not bothered about that.

I want to request to the entire person who are aggrieved by IBSN not to use abusive word for IBSN. Because this makes IBSN innocent. If you are really aggrieved with the IBSN go to court and take legal actions. Suppose if you are terminated on “at will” condition. Then you can claim for the compensation through legal steps. Because no labor law allow 3 months notice period for employee and “at will” for employer. I am certain and sure that IBSN doesn’t have any standing order regarding that. Or else if you are client then you can go to www.irs.gov and contact to IRS.
I also want to say to LPP and NANDA and others don’t take this message as threat, just want to request that manage the things and make all things in order. IBSN needs growth and help IBSN. Keep in priority first client and then employee. Without client you cannot think about revenue and without employee you cannot think of IBSN.
I also want to suggest one more thing to LPP, don’t care about this blog. If you want to grow first of all satisfy your existing employee because they are your knowledge asset. Delegate your work to others and keep command over them. I know in this case you might have to incur some agency cost, but still try it. Make them happy, they can even die for you.

hello ... for the last 6 months, different members from your company is saying i will get my reversal fee in 2 weeks, 3 weeks etc...and the last promise was, they said, i will get by sep 15th. and today also i didnt received my money. Hey what happen to all of you. No one is bothered now to take any action. Just keep it on. Otherwise it will be another win of IBSN. Just be in the background. Our life they had spoiled but make sure that it should not happen with other. friends help our youth. how can u keep silent, help this country so that no one can try to make such a fraud. come forward. if you have link with media come with them. If you have link with CA/CS/CWA/CPA institutions come with them. Make various blog against this company. If you have link with company affairs(company Law Board) come with them. If you have link with labour courts and law come with them. Just unite and work in background. remember that now God is with you. I make you sure that when they will recruit person again then media will come forward with such fraud and like Satyam this company and their auditor will be enquired. If some one is snatching water from you then first of all check that person whether he is thirsty or not. If he is really thirsty then give your water. But if he wants water only for his personal benefit then mix poison into water and give him for drinking. Now it's upto you. What to do. Come forward. think that how can we save our country from such type of fraud. You are the bright future of the country. Like IBSN policy if each person will tell the truth of IBSN to 1, 000 person in a month then 250 person can tell the truth to 2, 50, 000 person per month. And in a year almost 30 lacs person in corporate will know about the fraud done by IBSN. where ever you are working or sitting idle just do it. and pass this message to all. Especially to MBAs I want to add one thing just utilize your mind and make the impossible thing possible. They are operating from India because labour cost very low here. They are just treating us like a dog. But show them that we are not the dog we are lion.
