three faces of the company!!! if they all represent the same then it is very confusing. you file from one site, get mails from another. and Laxmi is from myibsn.com. how do these people link up it is very difficult to understand.

coming to the point. i paid up extra money in 2009 when they confused me with itemised planning and adjustments & itemized planning. that $300/- is still with them and all attempts to contact them has failed. it has been full 1 year now. once i was able to get to talk to someone on phone and she was not able to answer as to when IBSN would pay me back. i asked he for the manager and she was hell reluctant to get to the manager. from this you can understand the scare the employees have of their managers in IBSN.

today i read about Laxmi feeling so offended by reading the feeling of people who felt they have been cheated/stolen. to tell you the truth Laxmi. i feel that i have been STOLEN BY IBSNtax.com. and i feel sure that all those who have said something here should have been felt cheated at some point or the other. or else people are not so crazy as to go public and just scrible something. what i am writing here are facts. i have all details for my tax filing and i can furnish you anytime you want. i have taken screenshots of all my ibsntax.com screens becuase i know next year it will not be available on the website.

Laxmi, if you stand by your words, please investigate and get my work done. contact me whenever you want on my email. i will furnish you all details of the filing.

We have deposited Rs.5 Lakhs as (Operating Franchisee) with IBSN in Jan-09 and supposed to get back the money with interest by Aug-09. Two weeks back we received Rs.50, 000/- and the amount due from IBSN is almost Rs.7 Lakhs. We are not able to reach any of the contact persons and even there is no response to our mails. Could you please look into the matter and initiate for clearing of Franchisee Dues.

Please suggest a way to file a complaint against IBSN. If you have done so and were successful please advice. I'm about to file a case against them thru BOA for refunding my payment for the tax processing.

They have taken my money as well. If someone is suing them, I will support them. They made endless phone calls and then showed me wrong numbers for return and made me pay 200$. I found out a mistake in their file and that was it. It took me 2 months of frustation after which an IBSN representative asked me to cancel my file. Once I did that, I lost all the history of the interactions with the company. When I log in, it still shows refund as processing. It has been 6 months and I still havent got my money back.

This is Koushik Chakrabarti from Kolkata, India. My IBSN File no is M73290. I am an old customer of IBSN and did my US Tax filing for both 2008-09 and 2009-10 through IBSN. However, the behavior IBSN has done with me obliges me to state that IBSN is no better than a typical fraud company who doesnt bother to return money (pending for 8 months) to its customers and doesnt even bother to respond to its customers inspite of repeated mails and telephone calls.

This is my 2nd year with IBSN for filing my US Tax. This year I paid $732.49 to IBSN on Mar-24-2010. The payment confirmation number is IBNIBN[protected]. This payment included US Tax Preparation charges as well as SDIRA charges ($360). Just before accepting the final tax documents, I discussed with Shobha Talari from IBSN and tried to understand the pros and cons of SDIRA option coz nobody from IBSN had explained me the SDIRA options previously. After discussing with Shobha, I decided not to go for the SDIRA option since I had lost my job in US and had permanently returned to India. So it wasn't worth to maintain an SDIRA account.

Shobha accordingly sent me the modified Tax documents and confirmed that SDIRA charges of $360 will be refunded to my Bank of America account since I am opting for non-SDIRA option of Tax Filing. Based on her promise, I accepted the tax documents and completed my filing. After that I had sent so many mails to IBSN and called atleast 20-25 times in their Hyderabad location number and almost everyone gave me an answer that they will return my money soon, and false promises like Finance is looking after it. I kept my patience and now they are not picking up the phone. Even nothing happened after I escalated the issue in IBSN website. It has been 8 months since then and I have no choice left but to raise this in Consumer Forum so that I can get my hard-earned money back.

I would ask IBSN officials to check all my mails in IBSN website to understand what kind of service IBSN had provided to its customers. Please get me my hard-earned $360 refunded. This is not a matter of joke. An amount of $360 may not be anything for you guys but this is a lot of money for a person like me when I had lost my job and returned to India permanently I will not gain anything by saying that IBSN is a fraud company and I don't wish to say that as well, but with the terrible experience I had, I would never deal with a company like this and would recommend everyone I know, not to get involved with IBSN on any financial matters, unless I get my money refunded.

Will I ever get my money back?

I am Sundar. I have more than 10 years of experience in the field of manufacturing, distribution, sales and now i work for a an IT-Enabled Services Company. Actually, when I attended this company's interview, I thought that there is a lot of high scope of learning about Taxation and GAAP standards, but the way these people in IBSN i.e. especially JB (as he is called) he told me that they will recruit exceptionally bright candidates and provide them the best of the salary and others will be paid only the ROCK BOTTOM salaries and when i was reading their agreement, I was very much shell shocked at their giving of 50% of the salary to the employee and the rest of the 50% of the salary after three months. How could this be?????Wish Laxmi to explain on this.

Being to say that they are International Business Services and Needs, better they do not say that at all. While recruiting there should be a good HR policy and these people do not have a HR policy at all. It looks like they are a set of people who work with as little knowledge of the HR policies and that while recruiting employees, you are not supposed to say exceptionally bright candidates (as JB said).

Exceptionally bright candidates are the people who are known to make a hell lot of mistakes and not the experienced people.

I am surprised as to what experience these people have. Better deem yourself in your own words.

Being in America does not assure you that the services provided by you are quite correct.

It's pretty funny that employees/executives of IBSN keeps saying that they adhere to IRS rules and code. I am an IRS Enrolled Agent based in DC and this year I got more than a few clients who were former clients of IBSN. I looked at their 2009 tax returns and every one of them ( literally every one of them) are wrong/fraud. For example, commuting expenses and daily meals for your self are never tax deductable (you need to get per-diem from your employer, if you want to cover them) but IBSN claimed them as un-reimbursed employee expenses. This is considered fraud. Avoid this company. They are worse than H&R. If you get audited once, then IRS will audit all your previous tax returns (since you started filing the first time, if they decide one of the returns is fraud).
If you want to get your taxes done by a professional, then talk to them first and see if they are knowledgeable BEFORE handing them the paperwork. I couldn't help but laugh at the title 'Chief Knowledge officer'.
You should not be paying more than 150 to 200 for most of your retuns (I know them b/c I am an Indian as well).

Please report your complaints about IBSN to [protected]@irs.gov you will get faster responce.

These are bloody criminals they have this is the first year I am filling with them and they have screwed my tax return completely first of all they have charged me exorbident and my taxes are not filed yet...My Dad is a lawyer here in US and I have consulted with him for the IBSN behaviour and he is of the opinion that I should be able to file a case against them for harrasement and not delivering the services as promoised. I will keep you all posted about this and you will see things goind bad for these CHEATERS.

I had filed the tax returns through IBSN. Trust me IBSN bugs you to the core.They support from India & the company is being run people who are unexperienced.Any doubts you ask them, they will ask you to hang on over the phone but they will never ever come back to you to clarify it . They will be so excited to revert calls in the intitial stages when you fill your papers with them but later they will never answer the calls. There have been lot many times wherein I would have got irritaed calling all the 10 phone nos they have.& everything goes waste.They themselves are not sure as to what is happening. Its waste of time & money filing thru' IBSN...I will personally suggest not to go with them

I absolutely agree with the complaints metioned in this forum. UInfortunately, I didn't see it before approaching IBSN. They have taken money for filing tax return 2010 but haven't done so far.

At the time of filling you receive many emails & phone calls on a daily basis until you file with them. If you are filling and have not make a payment, with even a one liner mail, you are assured to get multiple responses. After that its you who has to follow up without getting any response. Their phone numbers are mostly unreachable. Nobody responds through email/ online.

I think it's time to file complaint against this conmpany to IRS and Indian finance ministry . Also it need to be communicated to HR of major IT companies so that message is passed at individual employee level.

In the month of Dec 2008 they made few people, normal people to invest certain amount say Rs. 500000/- and with in 7&1/2 months ie; by August they are supposed to get 100% returns on installments ie; the invested amount and the bonus of Rs. 500000/- again. Fully calculated and approved legally( as per their words). Till the US season they made the payment well. But late freom April they started pleading the investors for some time. They just gave words in AIR that their amount is been blocked in US market and will return the amount along with MAY installment. Unfortunately, till now months were dragging and they are still trying to built the trust in air only.
Now they are directly asking the investors to wait till April 2010 to get their amount.
If any investor is streesig them about money, they are just raising their hands and the only statement they are giving is " GO TO HELL"
I dont know whether Mr. LPP is a Basturd or not but Mr Jollin Britto the so called JB of IBSN is literally a real basturd.A very big fowler nad bloody basturd. I dont know, being a christain how could he lie all the time.
There are hardly times where he speaks truth.I IIMs who were deputed just because of him just lost their lives now.
This gave false impression about the company and made the get tempted towards the company. For his bloody FACe he wants employees to work under him from ISB.

I got robbed by IBSN ...I filed my US TAX return and paid huge amount for that . After two month when i found no tax return amount has came in my box...I try to search and called IRS and found no one has filed my TAX return...Guide me how i can punish them...I can do any thing to take them behind the cell...As all of the email and contact no are unreachable….Pls contact me ….[protected]@yahoo.co.in

This year was my first time usage of IBSN for tax filing and I should say I am really disappointed with the service and response from IBSN. IBSN was suggested by one of my friend. I had used online tax filing site. I am filing US tax for 2010 from India. I have been repeatedly sending my query through internal message system many times and there is no response.

They filed by state tax return and since it was having lot of errors, State tax return was rejected. This was after I paid the amount for tax return. Since then, there is no response from IBSN even when i try to contact them through messaging or email. Their contact number most of the time never works (no one picks up) and when at times some one picks up, nothing significant happens.

There is absolutely no response from IBSN regarding this.There is no help from IBSN side to urgently process the same. The phone numbers or emails given in the site never works. No response from it. Phone number never works. IBSN has made mistakes in my CA tax filing report and the tax filing did not happen. Then I had to filing by myself through one of the US tax filing sites, after last date since IBSN was responding properly.

I have so many messages and sent so may mails and tried reaching them on thier US contact numbers as well as India contact numbers. Their phone numbers are mostly unreachable. Nobody responds through email/ online. They are not responding to any communications - emails, online communication process through their websites, or Phone.

IBSN should return the money that I paid for filing the tax return to me as soon as possible.
I will never recommed this company to anyone for tax filing.

its a pathetic company to work in, because you never know when can they terminate you they don't even give you any documents and all the management people they don't pick your call and most of the time they don't reply your mail . forget about salary last month they terminate me without any reason JB is a big ash hole . I have filled my tax prepration in IBSN last year. After tax prepration fee payment they asked me to send the documents for filling. Documents returned to me stating the company which was operating in chennai Shreeram infotech, tamabram is closed. Was surprised. then i felt yeah, there is something wrong with this company. i called to US, India and any number displayed in the IBSN website and to my luck there was not even a single response for almost an year. So i decided to register for this year tax filling and i got a mail & call back immediately (With on couple of hours). i said my problem they redirected me to send a mail to some id (i thought am going to end up in same situation), i sent couple of mails and no response till now. I sent couple of mails to Laxmi who is repsonding here that her compnay is best in clase, even she has not responded. I sent mails to all the escalation e-mail address in IBSN however i didn't even get even a single response. I work for wipro and i have mailed all my friends in US and those who returned from US to stop using IBSN as they are only keen in collecting the taxation fee and not ready to provide any service.
Who ever reading this, pls. stay away from IBSN. you can get any other tax provider who can really help you.

Totally agree. I have been carrying that SDIRA load for last 3 years, without ever getting any explanations. This year because of my combined income and 401(k) investments. i got practically ZERO advantages for Tax purpose. When you consider the fees to IBSN & IRA services I actually lost money on this stupid thing.
Laxmi is absconding and not returning e-mail or phone calls. BEWARE OF THESE ******
Anything we can do to bring this operation down. I am sure there are plenty o[censored]s in the same boat. So I am positive we can bring him to justice.
