Dear Sir/Madam, My name is Arun Kumar from Bangalore. I have a long pending issue with IDBI Bank regarding housing loan. I did not get a proper justification on the issue, hence, I thought of approaching you. The complaint is - I had approached IDBI for a housing loan to purchase a site (plot) which falls under gram-tana jurisdiction in Bangalore. The DSA (Philip) a representative of IDBI Bank reviewed my case, checked all the documents and he said that I was eligible to take loan. I gave all the documents required, along with processing fees of Rs.5510. After that, IDBI announced that they will not fund for Gram-tana site. It is because of the bank's change in funding policy, I was turned down. I approached the bank and had lot of email communication back and forth; they say that- as per the loan application form, the processing fee will not be refunded at any cost. I don’t see this to be justifying. Please let me know your email address and I would like to send you all the email communication in this regard. Looking forward to hear from you soon. My name is Chandra Mohan D from Chennai. I have an issue with IDBI Bank regarding housing loan (Land / Property Loan). I did not get a proper justification on the issue, hence, I thought of approaching you.
Complaint:
I had approached IDBI for a housing loan to purchase a site (plot) which falls under Poonamalle (Thiruvlalur District). The representative of IDBI Bank reviewed my case, checked all the documents and he said that I was eligible to take loan. I gave all the documents required, along with processing fees of Rs.5600.
After that, IDBI announced that they will not fund for due to legal issue. But they haven't mentioned about the legal process at the time of applying for the loan. I approached the bank and had lot of email communication (IDBI customer care) back and forth; they say that- as per the loan application form, the processing fee will not be refunded at any cost. I don’t see this to be justifying.
Money may not be an issue, but the way they treating the customers from them is not good. Why they are cheating the customers before applying for a loan and after.
The main reason i writing is other customer should be aware of this and they should not suffer from this. Let myself be the last customer from this type cheating.
Please let me know how to proceed further.
