[Resolved] Ignou — Why most of students of IGNOU leave their course before completion. | |
I Manish Srivastava want to know the fact that why most of students of IGNOU leave their course before completion, mainly IGNOU MCA and BCA. According to my survey a IGNOU study center start BCA course with 400 students. But in the fourth semester of BCA only 30% students continue with their course. Why ? Was this information helpful? | |

Hey this is lovik i m student of ignou of bca batch. nd i m from faridabad .In my frist semester my exam center was in Faridabad this is lovik choudhary
..nd timing of exam began 2.30.bt this time ignou authority did not send exam ticket hall at home add. nd put the center in a pvt .street school in between the delhi .
nd the hall ticket which we download from net where was no timing on that ..ticket hall there was only written ...the timing of exam began is afternoon.
bt we find the center.nd reached at 2.30. bt the school gard did not allow us to enter ..ND i call to principal she did not pick the call ..when she picked the call sd now u r not allow to enter ..we were 4 students..all exam time we were standing out of school..that time we were harassing a lot ..They did not allow to give us exam...
there was a ignou authority ..he also ignore us..
it was my frist paper at 4/6/013 in this school .. at least they should give warning to us.. bt now we all students want justice...
plz put a staep for us.. we were just few minutes late .. nd we were not allow to attend exam.. we want to give exam again..

IGNOU — Not received the certificate
My (Sagolsem Rajiv Mangang) enrollment number is[protected]. I have completed my graduation, however I haven't received any of the certificate. Please let me know how to get a provisonal certificate. And i have not yet received any communication from your side. So i am sending it once again to your premises on 06/03/2014.please, kindly accept it inorder they would call me for the viva at my regional center (chennai).
As per my result,
The assignment mark of technical Documentation course code BET-036 and practical marks of course code BMEL-010 has been sent to the head office from my study center.(2534)-PMC study center.
But, when i enquired in chennai office their response was they have not received the soft copy and added that they might check for the hard copy.

I started doing MCA three years back and now I have completed it. I want to tell all those students who think that after doing IGNOU MCA/BCA they will get great job as java/php/.net programmers then they are completely wrong. I studied every day for 7-8 hrs in the last 3 years. But now I am only getting job offers as a technical content writer in Noida sector63, 65. I am not getting any job calls as a programmer because no company hires freshers on the basis of IGNOU MCA. They want regular degree holders. on top of it, even as a technical content writer, i am not able to get a 50% salary hike on my last salary because companies are now asking absurd questions like can you use robohelp?. That is the worth of this ignou MCA that companies dont even think that u can use software like robohelp. Companies consider ignou mcas as useless fools. Its like we have not studied anything useful in the last three years. Just imagine my frustration because I used to start studying as soon as the course material arrived at my house. So, I had almost learnt each subject almost three-4 times before appearing for it in an exam. But now I am sitting at home without a job after completing this degree and studying so hard because MNCs dont hire IGNOU FRESHERS in their development jobs. Such MCA and BCAs have chances as cmc/niit trainers or actually open ignou coaching institutes or start working as a php developer with a salary of 7-8 k.
I would say very poor education provided by IGNOU as it name added says.

I have earlier applied for MS-65 and Ms-100, but IGNOU, RC, DARBHANGA wrongly enrolled
me for MS-1, MS-2 and MS-3, which I had already completed earlier. When I submitted proof
of submission of re-admission form for MS-65 and Ms-100 several times, then IGNOU,
RC, DARBHANGA updated my record on 24/01/2013.A question may asked on this matter from
IGNOU, RC, DARBHANGA. It was mistake on behalf of IGNOU, RC, DARBHANGA.Why should I
pay penalty for re-registration and late fees as informed by AR, Projects, SED, IGNOU, New Delhi?
It was also said by IGNOU, RC, DARBHANGA that my registration for courses will be considered
from January, 2013 as my course status updated/corrected.
Therefore my two year time period must be considered from 24/01/2013, on the date on which
my course status updated/corrected. and should be over in December, 2014.
Kindly not charge penalty (fine) from me, which mistake was done by IGNOU, RC, DARBHANGA
and clear result of MS-100 as soon as possible. With hope
