Inidan Oil Corporation Petrol bunk Fraud and Scam

Inidan Oil Corp Petrol bunk Fraud and Scam happend to me in one petrol bunk IOC in Venkatanarayana Road near Mother Care in T Nagar. I asked them to load petrol for Rs 500 and then they loaded only for Rs 100. Then they stopped. I told i asked for 500, then he started from 100 to 400 and said initially 100 + now 400 = 500. But the beauty is he did not reset back to 0. So 100 Rs of petrol is lost. Initially i noticed but i thought it was my mistake, and drove for 10 mins and say my meter that did not show right reading that usually show. I drove back to them and complained this and all of the guys including the manager knows the fraud and they said some crap problem and fill me 100 rs petrol immediatly. All the petrol bunk are fraud. People have to be very aware of these fraud not top get cheated. Same thing again happened in another Inidan oil bunk in Ekkaduthangal, near Kasi theater.
Seems like all IOC bunk are full of Fraud please avoid them.

This happens to me most of the time, when i put petrol in an Indian Oil petrol bunk in Adyar..
Exactly the same thing happened to me at the IOC petrol bunk in Adyar(200 mtrs from Adyar police station).I asked the man in the pump to load for rs.100/-, he told me to turn off the petrol tap in my bike stating that would help save fuel.Without hesitation i slightly bent towards the petrol tap in order to turn it off.All of a sudden the meter showed 50/-.I felt no vibration, which i used to feel normally when the petrol pours in.He pretended like as if he was asked to fill only for rs.50/-.I reminded him about, asking to load for rs.100/-.Then he reset to zero and filled for rs51/-.But this time i felt the vibration.In surprise i asked him whether he did load for rs.100/-.He stated to me about the meter running for re.1/- extra.I thought that be my mistake and went to fill air.Then i saw nitrogen gas station which is supposed to be free for xtra premium in the same bunk.But i had loaded ordinary petrol.The man in nitro gas pump told me that it is free only if we load xtra premium fule for rs.1000/-.Then he told that it would cost rs.15/ - to fill each bike tyre with nitro gas.So i gave rs.30/- to remove compressed air and to fill it with nitrogen, for both the tyres. After riding for a while i noticed that the fuel meter is not showing the usual one.I had an important appointment near Avadi.So i didnt get time to come back to complaint about that.I feel that everybody in bunk is aware of that irrespective of hierarchy including managers.This is way too worse.I request the authorities to look into this and to bring an end to this ASAP.

I agree Mr. Vijayanand, I too experienced the same from this petrol pump while filling Xtra Premium. I asked for 10 litres of petrol, they filled for 100 (1.96 litres). Again they turned my attention and filled 8.05. After that they said 10 litres (1.96+8.05) as if they have given me .01 liter extra. Another funny thing is they have given some IOCLs extra reward points which not worth for anything. What for all these gimmicks? I have complained to them after 3 days noting the mileage figure received though know its of no use. Better to avoid such pumps. Seems there is no one proper to monitor/address these things? Try pumps preferably in Mount Road other than IOCLs, quite okay I feel.
Even i agree with Mr.Vijayanand - and i have experienced the exact way of fraud happening in the same bunk in Venkatnarayana Rd. and for me its Rs.1000 put for Rs.200 and balance of Rs.800 from Rs.200.
I asked him can you show me the computer generated report of reading that has happened - then got red handed.

ANOTHER FRAUD HAPPENING IN ESPLANADE INDIAN OIL - I put petrol only for Rs.1000 every time and i Swipe through card. To my surprise when i saw my credit card statement it showed Rs.1080 and then only i checked my receipt - Its FOUL - the zero will have a slash and so the eight will replicate almost to Zero - hence by overview i got trapped this time - SEE THE TRICK - that bunk fellow was pressurising as an auto was behind me - so that i take off my car fast without noticing this fraud. BEWARE FRIENDS. ITS SHAME ON INDIAN OIL FOR NOT TAKING SERIOUS STEPS TO CONTROL ALL THESE AND ITS LOSING ITS MARKET SHARE AND MAKING EVEN MORE LOSSES

i went to that bunk i said to fill(ie full tank) petrol.that guy asked money money like that then i gave 1 1000 rs note petrol filled for nearly 820 rs then he gave 100 rs 1ly i asked wt abt another 80 rs that guy said that while u taking money i filled for 80 rs then 1ly i filled for 820 rs likethat that guy said my full tank capacity is 12 ltr he filled nearly 11.50 liters .sema fraud bunk they are sunh hi tech technique to fool the customers because of then for me tody 80 rs loss

    hi,
    i have booked a gas cylinder LPG of INDANE from Deepshikha gas agency, Rajendra nagar patna since ten days but as yet of now there is no response. My consumer number is D 6644 and the gas is booked under Mr PP Sinha. in fact i have tried to book it online too but there is no response till now. im in a very bad condition at the moment. Pls act to the same promptly

      As I have been transfered to Orissa, I formally transfered my gas connection (Indane) to Orissa by depositing the cylinder and regulator. My consumer no. was 25297. On 26th February, 2009 I deposited two copies of transfer receipt at Kleen Gas, Kharvela Nagar, Bhubaneswar. They had sent to Chirantani Gas Agency at Bangur Avenue, Calcutta for verification. But till date, they are not replying.The Calcutta dealer is telling, that he has sent, on the other hand the Bhubnaneswar dealer is telling that, he has not received. Near about 1 month has been passed. But an innocent consumer is becoming the sufferer.

      Dear Sir
      Some time ago my domestic LPG gas cylinder connection alloted from maharastra after that I have transfered my connection in Bhopal now my services transfer in punjab Sahnewal in private company . we rae facing the transfer our connection in the same place due to residence proof kindle help us.
      I have got indane gas connection through Guruchaithanya Gramin Vitrak Kyalanur, Kolar District, as per records the connection charge is Rs1400 but that distributor collecting Rs5000. I asked the same but he said that you have pay bribe otherwise you wont get the connection...
      Poor people not able to afford that type of connection...
      Please advise the same...

        Sir,
        My consumer no.is 10047 and I receive Gas from M/S Harson Gas Agency, Zail Singh Nagar, Ropar(Pb.).This agency is doing malpractice by selling gas in blackmarket.They sell the gas against booking no. of consumer in black market and donot supply gas to the consumer against their booking and tried to befool their consumer.I always receive gas by persuing the agency again and again and one cylinder in almost two months.
        This time again on my booking the gas on 6th of this month they have not supplied me the gas. On my persuing the case with the above mentioned agency they told me that the agency has issued the voucher of supply to its officials on 17th of this month, Now the gas is missing again.
        On my contacting the Manager he showed helplessness.
        An enquiry may kindly be conducted against the working of firm and the firm be directed to supply me gas at an early date.

        With due respect i mr srikant pattnayk having gus connection indian oil co-rporation vide bearing consumer no-17310 and orginal voucher no-711810.
        While i m booked my new connection the vendor issued the voucher in the name of Bijaya chandra satapathy and c/o srikant pattnayak, aurobinda nagar-2nd lane.House no-9 berhampur, dist-Ganjam orissa
        when i was complain for the said nuisance of the vendor the authority of agency assured me that with in 6 month we will provide u in your name now take this book and we will provide u refill gus till than converson of your name. it is your kind information that i got the c/o book on[protected] but unfortunately 3 year passed already the agency cannot able to provide the new book and last 2 months stopped the refill the gus of my book. so i want to know that is it the knowledge of higher authority. whenever i want to about my converson matter that the agency behavior like as burbler and threatened me to complain to ioc chairman no body can do any thing against me.

        in fact i dont know who is Bijaya ch satapathy and why the agency will done this type of nuisance . several type of complain i was lodged already. This my grievance to u please solve this proble m bz i m leaving miserable condition for only fuel. The same agency is pressed me to take cylinder on black piece. It is for your necessary information that the my agency name is ...

        Gas booking not done on time, delays has been made.
        Time taken between 2 booking should be 21 days but they take 30days for Booking .And delivery time should be within 3 days after booking but it takes 15 days .

Usually, the agency is not responding to the telephones in the three numbers, 2337590,2337591 and2337571. After spending much time I booked for Cylinder through the toll free Number1260 on 19.09.2009- booking number 7. Till date the cylinder is not supplied. Though I tried to contact the agency over phone, they are not even picking up the phone. Hence this complaint. Please arrange to deliver the cylinder. Also it will be much helpful to the customers, if your Office can suggest how can we book the cylinder.
        It is seen that there is no response to my complaint dated 30.09.2009. My consumer Number is 34125 with Anand Gas Agency- Code No.-4592967. Arrange for supply of the cylinder immediately.

          I have been trying to book gas cylinders on phone. The telephone line installed even if it rings, is not attended during booking period, i.e. upto 4.00 pm and after that the persons concerned pick up the phone, and says to book it the next day. This is happening for the last two occasions and this time for the last 3 days I have been trying to book since 20th March, 2009. The agency name is DOMESTIC GAS SERVICES, SECTOR 'O', ALIGANJ, LUCKNOW. The phone number is[protected] the only number on which booking is done.

            Dear Sir,

            This is regarding the delay in deliery of domestic gas. We have been facing this problem for quite a long time. Since after 2 months of booking, the gas agency is not delivering the refill cylinder.

            This issue was there for last two or three years and the entire village people are suffering due to the negligence of the gas agency.

            Could you please help us to resolve this issue.

              Hi

              I stay at Vaishali, Ghaziabad (U.P.). I am trying to get a new LPG connection. But to whomsoever distributor I went everybody is insisting me on buying a new chullah from them along with the new connection when I already have a chullah at my place. They told that no new connection can be provided if I do not buy chullah from them. It will cost me arround Rs. 1200 extra. Please let me know what to do.

                I am highly greatful to you for taking pains and intrest in my case, but I am sorry to mention that inspite of your kind instructions M/s Veer Jyoti enterprises are not issuing the LPG cylinder.
                It is therefore requested that some drastic action may kindly be taken against M/s Veer Jyoti enterprises so that I may get my LPG cylindet regularly in time.

                I am highly greatful to you for taking pains and intrest in my application, but I am sorry to mention that inspite of your best efforts I am not getting the Gas supply.

                I am making request in a day or two but now they are saying that my account has been declared dead by the Veer Jyoti Enterprises.
                So I am not able to get he LPG Gas Cylinders.

                It is humbly requested that kindly interveen in the matter so that I may get my Gas Supply by 09/02/2009.

                Sir,

                It is to inform you that before the connection of Indraprastha Gas Ltd. I was getting my LPG cylinder from M/s Veer Jyoti Enterprises, Joseph Broz Tito Marg, opposite Panchsheel, New Delhi 110017. My consumer No. 17671 and 21455.

                I was superannuated on 31/03/2008 (AN) from central Govt. service and I was to surrender my Govt. Quarter No. 138, Sector-1, Sadiq Nagar, New Delhi on 31/07/2008. On 26/07/2008 I have requested to M/s Veer Jyoti Enterprises to issue a LPG cylinder for cooking food as i was to get disconnection for Indraprastha Gas Ltd. and to obtain the no demand Certificate to surrender the Govt. Quarter and I had to remain in the Govt. Quarter till 31/07/2008. but no LPG cylinder was issued to me. I was informed by M/s Veer Jyoti Enterprises that they have the orders from Govt, not to issue LPG cylinder to Sadiq Nagar New Delhi as there is a Indraprastha Gas connection avilable.

                On 12/09/2008 I personally went to the office of M/s Veer Jyoti Enterprises and I handed over the written application for change of address from Govt. Quarter no 138, Sector-1 Sadiq Nagar to A-37, First Floor, Sanwal Nagar, New Delhi-110049. along with a photocopy of surrender certificate of Govt. Quarter. I also requested for issue a LPG cylinder, but they did not issue.

                On 03/11/2008 I have again made the request to issue a LPG cylinder but they ordered me to attend their office alongwith copy of surrender certificate of Govt. Quarter, as according to their record I am residing in Sadiq Nagar and they did not issue the LPG cylinder, with the result I am facing harassment and I had made alternative arrangement from my relatives.

                It is humbly requested that necessary investigation may kindly be made and a line of action may be highly appreciated.

                It is to inform you that before the connection of Indraprastha Gas Ltd. I was getting my LPG cylinder from M/s Veer Jyoti Enterprises, Joseph Broz Tito Marg, opposite Panchsheel, New Delhi 110017. My consumer No. 17671 and 21455.

                I was superannuated on 31/03/2008 (AN) from central Govt. service and I was to surrender my Govt. Quarter No. 138, Sector-1, Sadiq Nagar, New Delhi on 31/07/2008. On 26/07/2008 I have requested to M/s Veer Jyoti Enterprises to issue a LPG cylinder for cooking food as i was to get disconnection for Indraprastha Gas Ltd. and to obtain the no demand Certificate to surrender the Govt. Quarter and I had to remain in the Govt. Quarter till 31/07/2008. but no LPG cylinder was issued to me. I was informed by M/s Veer Jyoti Enterprises that they have the orders from Govt, not to issue LPG cylinder to Sadiq Nagar New Delhi as there is a Indraprastha Gas connection avilable.

                On 12/09/2008 I personally went to the office of M/s Veer Jyoti Enterprises and I handed over the written application for change of address from Govt. Quarter no 138, Sector-1 Sadiq Nagar to A-37, First Floor, Sanwal Nagar, New Delhi-110049. along with a photocopy of surrender certificate of Govt. Quarter. I also requested for issue a LPG cylinder, but they did not issue.

                On 03/11/2008 I have again made the request to issue a LPG cylinder but they ordered me to attend their office alongwith copy of surrender certificate of Govt. Quarter, as according to their record I am residing in Sadiq Nagar and they did not issue the LPG cylinder, with the result I am facing harassment and I had made alternative arrangement from my relatives.

                It is humbly requested that necessary investigation may kindly be made and a line of action may be highly appreciated.

                I am consumer of Indane, currently located in Tripunithura, Ernakulam. Rasmi Gas Service is the distributor in this area. Ocassionally they do not deliver gas cylinders quoting lorry strike or employee strike. I am a home user, who requires a cylinder only once in 2-2 1/2 months.They are not even providing me a cylinder inspite of this. Though I book much prior(almost two months ahead).

                I am not satisfied with their service.The working of this particular gas agency is highly corrupt. When we got our connection transferred to this place, they even compelled us to buy one apron costing Rs.350/-.

                i applied for a gas allotment of gas connection from gurdaspur agency jail road gurdaspur(Punjab) on my request the said agency alloted a gas connection in my name.I visted the gas connection on date15-5-09 when i resend their the door of the office gas agency.the owner of the gas agency mis behave with and also cancled my gas connection which alleted previous alleted by the gas aggency owner.

                Sir, We have booked our gas (Customer No. J-36060) on 6 Feb 2010, but still we have not received the refilled cylinder. I am going to the agency for last three days, the Agency owner assuring us everyday that today we will deliver the cylinder, but still I have not received the same.

                Sir, As you know, the prices of Cooking Gas is subject to increase, that’s why Agency owner is not supplying the cylinder to earn more profit.

                So, I request you to take the personal interest to solve my problem.

                I have received letter from Indane for the delivery of new cylinder but the dealer refused to deliver me the cylinder. I have visit the dealer place 4-5 times but he is refusing me everytime, saying that my cylinder not came to his office. But other customer cylinder had been delivered in due course. In this regard two times i have approached personally at above said agency that two time dealing clerk informed me that cylinder being delivered next Saturday, this is agency common word . Many of the Saturday is passed but Gas till not yet delivered after laps of 42 days .Sir we are facing very difficulties due to non delivery of LPG Gas timely . A tralyman came to the door and asked for receipt of booking and talk unnecessary words and back to say that ''you come at agency and got your cylinder from that place, it will not deliver at home.

                  we have booked new connection from ratnasheela indane gas agency katangi distt- balaghat, but manager and their staff forcing as to purchase hot plate from teir agency and for which they are charging 1850/- rs . and total connection charges for single cylinder connection 4250/-. however we purchased hot plate from other shop which is costing about 800/- and they charged 3200/- for new connection as they have cheated as and 1000/- taken extra for which they have not given any bill
                  so concerned official are requested to take immediate action.

                        I am always facing the problem in delivery of Gas cylinder, even if booked 3-4 days before i am not getting the supply also when we are calling them they don't pick the calls.
                        It has become tedious task to get the cylinder, I am running out of cooking gas and when called the agency no one picked the call, finally in the 2nd half (3 PM) they picked the call and when I asked for status they said they will deliver only next day and said why you did not call before for which I told that I kept trying but none picked the call. The behavior of the person(his name Chandrasekhar) was very rude. i said if this is way you are treating your customers and not giving on time delivery then I need to go to consumer forum for which they said you go to consumer forum and do whatever you can do, we don't care.

                        Seems these agencies have no fear of consumer forum and people like us suffering like anything. can you Pl suggest ways to teach a lesson and put penalty on them

                            i am a lpg consumer in nagpur, the gas connection is in the name of my mother viz.sakina shabbir husain, the connection is with M/s. Dhurve Gas Agency, Nagpur and my subscriber number is DG/3681, last time i took the lpg cylinder on 19/07/08, and after that as for 3-4 months my place was closed due to some personal reasons and now when i return back to nagpur and applied for lpg gas cylinder on 22/02/2009, the distributor refused to give the cylinder stating that the gas connection is dead and asked to give in writing an application with copy of original document of gas connection. i wrote an application and enclosed the copy of documents as instructed to me and submited it on 23/02/09 with the distributor & he assured me that the gas connection will be activated in 15 days, later on after the lapse of given time of 15 days i visited to his office 3-4 times and asked about the matter but the office staff did not gave a satisfactory reply stating that the application is forwarded to the regional office and yet not processed.
                            you are therefore kindly look into the matter and do the needful as earliest as possible

                              Dear Sir / Madam,

                              This is second time, I am lodging a complaint about enormous delay happening in supply of LPG. We have a domestic gas connection with Thachampilly Gas Agencies, Wadakanchery, Thrissur Dist. Kerala. This connection is in the name of my mother aged 70 retired from Southern Railway and my family comprises me, my wife our 2 small kids and parents. We both are working and my parents are retired. We leave for office morning at 8.30 am.

                              We have booked a cylinder on 19.01.09 and till date, we have not recieved the same. Whenever we try on their 2 landphone numbers, it is getting contineous engage tone. Once I have sat down in for 30 min at a stretch to acces them but in vain. Even if you get them on-line, the people who pick up the phone will be vey arrogant and rude and it was seeming that you are calling them to avail a free cylinder or some free service. As you know, if the service we deserved to get, are not getting, obvisouly any one may get annoyed and when we ask them - why this delay always...? without responding to this, they simply disconnect the phone, which is a real insult to an annoyed customer.

                              I am also working in a cusotmer oriented company calls Reliance Life Insurance as a Branch Manager and when we come across to such a filthy treatment from people who responsible... just tell me, how will we respond.

                              Today (19.03.09), exactly after 60 days from the date of booking and even after almost 18 - 20 min contineous trial on their phone, I got them on line and intimated to them that I have a small baby at home and my parents are aged, please try to deliver one Cylinder. To this, I got response that my turn will come in next week only and if you so desparate, just come to their office and if it is available I can take delivery of cylinder from their godown, which is about 1.5 km away from their office. Then I took a leave and gone to their office, where I have found a croud of about 60 plus customers gathered infront of their office. Few of them got the bill printed and have been asked to go their Godown to take delivery of cylinder. After almost 1 hr waiting infront of their office, one girl has told me that stock has been over and you just call on tommorrow to confirm whether they have any fresh load has come.

                              Now, please advise me what has to be done in this regard. As I told you I am working in a Insurance Company and we are standing in March. I have already taken a leave on today and tommorrow also I have to try my luck to get a cylinder, thats even after having booked for more than 60 days.

                              Please do resolve this issue on a war-foot basis to carry a good impression about a company, which has been awarded a "superbrand" in the country.

                              I have booked on 3rd November 2008 after a gap of 2 months, but still i have not received. When I have Contacted them they are telling that Cylinder deliverd on 12th of November but I have not received .
                              Kindly take necessary steps to supply the cylinder immeditely

                              I HAD BOOKED MY GAS A MONTH AGO ( 25TH SEPT 2009 ) BUT STILL HAVE NOT GOT IT INSPITE OF REPEATED REMINDERS. OTHERS WHO BOOKED LATER THAN ME HAVE RECEIVED IT. THERE IS SO MUCH BLACK MONEY BEING MADE OUT OF GAS CYLINDERS AND NO ONE SEEMS TO BE BOTHERED OR DOING ANYTHING TO CONTROL THE SITUATION. BEING A GENUINE LEGAL CONSUMER, ITS VERY FRUSTRATING N U FEEL HELPLESS IN SUCH SITUATIONS.AM A SINGLE LADY N CANNOT RUN ABOUT CHASING THESE PEOPLE. THERE MUST BE HUNDREDS OUT THERE FEELING THE SAME HELPLESSNESS.
                              WONDER IF ANY ACTION WOULD BE TAKEN.
                              the gas is still undelivered to us even after booking on 21st feb. 2010. the authorities are saying that you are still unregistered while we hv confirmed the registry status on internet and IVRS system.

                                Sir,

                                I have a/c of Domestic LPG at M/s Anirban Gas Agency, Laketown, Siliguri. I have siingle cylinder a/c of No. AN-0479. Every month the agency is taking the advannce booking after 10-12 days of the delivery
                                of the last Cylinder. Then iit is taking at least 35-40 days to deliver the same. Even some times it delivers the other consumers but due date of my cylinder have passed.
                                Is it possible to run with single cylinder for a family having 4 Members for 35+10=45 days ? On the other hand the Tea stall, Fast food stall are getting evry now and then the domestic LPG cylinder.

                                Is there any solution to get rid of this problem ? Have you any good reply of this complaint ?

                                  Sir,
                                  This is Gutta raj kumar from gudivada, krishna district, andhra pradesh.I have been using INDANE GAS CONNECTION. we were told that we can book for a refill cylinder only after 21 days of delivery of the cylinder.when we book, we will never know when it is going to be delivered..The dealer name is Sai Suvarna agencies, gudivada. this kind of arrangement is particularly inconvenient for people who are employed. why people have to wait for 10 to 15 days after booking for a refill cylinder. the details of the company are not even put for display. we cannot even make a complaint or get a clarification from the Indane gas company, in issues of difficulties. I am able to get 8 cylinders per year. which are insufficient for us.

                                    is only gas distributer in washim which is district place.

                                    just like me others also want new gas connection but owner refuses to accept application for waiting list for new connection. he say govt imposed ban on new connection.

                                    but he gave new gas connection in black for rs10000/-

                                    in this way he harassing the consumer as he is only one gas agency in the city.

                                    i request you plz look into the matter & do needful in this matter.

                                      I MADE COMPLAINTS EVEN THRU EMAIL IN LAST 5 DAYS AND ALSO ON[protected]INDANE, PATNA, PATNA OFFICE DIRECTED TOWARDS PROP. OF S.M.ENTERPRISES[protected] THEN DIRECTED TO MR.GAURAV MAURYA[protected] OFFICER OOF INDANE. HE ADVISED TO SUBMIT COMPLAINT ON TOLL FREE NO WHICH IS ALWAYS BUSY. I AGAIN TRIED TO TALK TO MR. MAURYA BUT HE DID NOT TURN UP AND SWITCHED OFF HIS MOBILE (17.03.2008 TIME 03.45P. APPROX.).
                                      I AM STILL UNABLE TO BOOK AND GET REFILL OF MY INDANE. MAY BE I HAVE CHOSEN THE WRONG PATH WHEN I CHOSE INDANE AS A PARTNER TO MY KITCHEN. BUT NOW PL HELP ME TO GET RID OF THIS SITUATION.

                                        I have a gas connection registered in the name of my father since 25 years. Due to such long time, the original papers got misplaced. After my father expired, I sought transfer of ownership. But they refused to do that without the original papers. Also they are not acepting the booking for gas. We are being harassed to no extent.
