[Resolved] Indian Health Organisation — Cheated by IHO | |||
Hi, Last month I bought a “IHO’s Family (Premier) Healthcheck Plan - Suitable for 4 or more people”, this included a total of 5 Thyrocare vouchers. And recently last week, the health package was delivered to my house address. I have following concerns: 1. When I opened the courier, I was surprised to find out that the Thyrocare health vouchers have different validity for each voucher. I was never told about this ‘different validity’ by anyone- neither the representative (who sold the product to me) nor the IHO website, where I checked about the product details. My sole intension when buying the product was to get health check-up done to all my family members as soon as possible. Which is no way fulfilled. This cheating by the IHO representative/IHO website makes the product a waste for me! 2. The IHO representative had explained to me about the product saying that I would get 50% discount on all the consultations, in the registered clinics/hospitals of course! The representative also shared a presentation with me which is in sync with what the representative told me then. But now, when I check with the hospitals on the discount part, they say a different story! Some say 10%, some say 20%..etc. When I called up the IHO customer care, they say that the discount is variable across hospitals!! My question is: As the discount is variable, why was I lied about the discount part? I still have the presentation document (I can share that too) from IHO which says ‘50% discount on all consultations’. In conclusion, I am very dissatisfied by the way IHO has concealed major information about the product BEFORE purchasing it. And revealing it only after I purchased through a customer care/welcome call. This hidden information from IHO has made the product useless to me and made me feel cheated. Now being cheated from IHO already, I want a full refund from IHO for the amount I paid. Hi,
IHO resolved my escalation by replacing the 2 Thyrocare vouchers, which were valid for the later 6-months of the year, and they also extended my IHO subscription by another 6-months (1 and half yrs in total now).
They took almost 2 months to resolve this concern.
I think i can live with the resolution provided by the IHO. :)
Wish others a speedy resolution.

I am K K Sasidharan and I had taken the card for my family members and when I visited the Max Hospital at Patparganj hospital initially they denied any discount even after prior appointment and after bargaining with them they offered me only 10% which is very below as promised by your respresentsative. I have been offered 50% and now I am getting only 10% that is also after persuation only. Pl clarify and refund me the amount charged from me immediately.
For the above purpose I am returning my cards duly cancelled to you through courier. Please return the payment immediately or you may ask the concerned hospital to provide me 50% discount in my future consultation charges and confirm me per return mail.

Hi, I am also Cheated by IHO as you explained in the above about the validity and I have a proof of recorded call with me and these IHO executives are now telling that, it is not possible to change and if I ask for cancellation, they are telling that only 50% money will be back to me.
Very Bad and simply we can say, IHO Is cheating customers. Please dont go with IHO. I strongly suggest dont pay the amount without documented terms and conditions.

I strongly suggest to all the people that, please don't cheated by IHO like us and apart from the issue which I have explained, there are n number of issues with this.
So simply stop taking IHO membership...

Looks like they are cheating us.. I have all emails with support team, what they have answered etc.. Please let me know, should I go with consumer court?
