[Resolved]  Indiatimes Shopping — purchased product not delivered

Hello sir/madam......

Following is the product purchase details from indiatimes shopping, the times of india group..

my order number is[protected] and i have purchased Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex 3.5 Inch 2 TB External Hard Disk - DESK

(STAC2000300)........... on the date september 11, 2011.....
obviously i have purchased it from axis bank account through debit card... the amount 4957.00 rs deducted from account....
but till now after 15 days(10 working days) i dont get it.....

i have asked my product delivery status through email, call & sms but still i did not get any reply from the company......


now tell me what i do....???


even through online chat facility on company's web site no one responsing me waiting for 1 hour to get response.......

Indiatimes Shopping — Purchased product is not delivered

I purcheded a book through indiatimes(Order ID:[protected]. Payment has done through net banking. After a week of puchase, they cancelled the order because of out of stock. The cheating thing is no option to refund and they forced to purchase another one within a short period to compansate our money. SO PLEASE AVOID INDIATIMES to do ur purchases. Once u do the payment, u please understand ur money has lost. Use ebay for ur online purchase. Good one and reliable

The order was placed on September 15, 2011 at 9:12 AM. Already 4 working days passed (if I exclude Saturday, September 17, 2011). Today is September 22, 2011 and I have not yet received the product. While placing the order I specifically mentioned in the comment that "Please Deliver by Friday. I need it urgently as I need to gift it on Saturday." September 17th was my Anniversary and I wanted to gift that to my wife. However, when I spoke to their customer service agent, I realized that I was late in placing the order. They cannot deliver the product before Monday, September 19th and the customer service agent was politely explained me the reasons which was logical and acceptable to me. She told me that I would get the product by Monday or latest by Tuesday as it had 2 days shipping policy. Unfortunately, they were unable to deliver the product until today.

Out of frustration, I contacted their customer support yesterday to inquire the status of my order. It was around 5:30 pm. The customer service agent informed me that the product was not even shipped by their partner/merchant. I was still holding my patience and politely requested for a solution. He said that he had registered a complaint (Complaint ID: 349070) and this matter will take 10 working days to get resolved or they will do something within 10 working days whatever. Now it was really annoying. Is this a Joke? I paid Rs850 to by that product with 2 days shipping and now since the product was not delivered after 4 working days, I have to sit and wait for another 10 working days to get a solution or may be more than that who cares in Indiatimes Shopping. They took 4 days to answer my email already, so I have no trust on them anymore.

When I tried to explain this to the agent, he was not even able to give me any good rebuttal. Rather he was scared because he knew what happened was not correct. He was repeating the same thing like a recorder and he did not even bother to transfer the call to someone (supervisor/manager) who knows better. I have never seen such a careless attitude. They did not even bother to inform me that the shipment would be delayed. I had placed an order (different product) at ebay.in on the same day when I placed the order with Indiatimes Shopping. I had received the delivery yesterday and it was before the promised time. Ebay never failed to deliver products on time as of now (At least I never experienced it). They never gave me explanations like Indiatimes Shopping. Why should I bother if their partner or merchant could not / did not ship the product? It is not my look out. I placed my order and paid money to Indiatimes shopping, so it is their concern and they should take the responsibility to coordinate with the merchant.

I am planning to go further and take further steps against this company. I was already paid a good compensation for my previous complaint against another merchant. Of course it is a little runaround, but honestly it worth taking actions against these types of companies, who make fake promises and earn money by showing fake adds.
