[Resolved] Indiatimes Shopping — Overcharged for product and pathetic customer service : Salt & Pepper Shaker - Slim (Mosaic Houseware)

I placed order for product "Salt & Pepper Shaker - Slim (Mosaic Houseware)" at Indiatimes Shopping website on 5th Jan 2013. The offer price mentioned on the website listing was Rs. 185 after discount on price of Rs. 245.

I received the product and was amazed to see the product was not having any MRP mentioned on the box or on the product itself. I raised a complaint as its illegal to sell an Indian product without MRP mentioned on it. Case number : 621876

I got a call and was told that they have all rights to seLl product without MRP and this is a fake case opened by me.

Later on I contacted Mosaic Houseware to know the real MRP of the product and I was informed its MRP is Rs. 175.

I wrote several mails to Indiatimes for speaking to seniors who can resolve this issue but they dont reply at all.

I have still not got any response.

Biggest issue is that how can any website inflate MRP of the product on website and then show discount of 25%. Even after giving discount of 25% they are selling it more than MRP of the actual product.

I need immediate compensation for cheating me, waste of my effort time and energy and also a written apology from Indiatimes Shopping.

Indiatimes — Pathetic service

What the pathetic & un professional service, I am totally disappointed, this is second time I use indiatimes shopping and both the times my order is cancelled if you r giving this type of service then my personal suggestion to you that close your portal that is good enough.

Both are treated casually,
Now what is the scene of my order or whatever.

Indiatimes Shopping — Not delivered product on time & customer service people are pathetic

Hi,

Customer service are pathetic.They never launch the complain.Its very impossible to reach them on phone..They never deliver product on time.I bought one rakhi gift on 16th and till date , delivery is pending.I didn't get any mail regarding this.I have written mail as well to customer care,but as usual no reply from their end..

Online shopping is really a big headache in India.
