Intel Motherboard — Motherboard isn't working

I purchased an Intel motherboard in the month of march 2008.It is not working at present.I have consulted to a computer technician and he said the motherboard is out of service and i have to purchase a new one.The purchase details of motherboard are its PART NO.BOXDG31PR and SKU NO.110D796.Month and year of import FEB 2008.Can you place tell me wat is the alternative for this.Will the company replace it with a new one.Kindly reply to my complaint.Thanq.
