[Resolved]  ISBM — Misuse of Degree

There is nothing like scam about ISBM (Indian School Of Business Management & Administration). I am pursuing MBA from the same institute and this is my last semster with them, even I have completed my bachelor's from the same institute and I beleive that they are good with their education system. Because I have received all the papers on time, either I have received my Bachelor's degree on time as well after compelting it.

symbiosis addmission /test form and fees — non delivery of the product

i send my admission form along with the fees draft for the symbiosis admission on 24/9/08
which has not reached the institute yet
this may lead to the cancellation of my candidature for the exam
they have not updated their site and i have got the acknowledgement from the institute regardin the non delivery of the same
indian sped post is the biggest in the world

This refers to my reference no ABD-001530 dated 8th August 2007, resgistered my self for MBA, full amount on account of fee was paid in six months.

Sorry to inform you that on asking for question paper, another Rs 5000/- was demanded by Ahmedabad office (ISBM). when I talked to Madam Nisha ([protected]), for what I should pay extra money when I have not received full course material nor a single phone call from ISBM during last two year, she told me to pay Rs 2000/- only.

It is requested to look into the matter as to why I should pay any extra amount for negligency on part of ISBM for not sending me full course material not a single phone call to assist me during the last two years.
After this i have requested to his head office which is in thane MUMBAI & CHANDIGARH through E-MAIL which i found from site of isbm www.isbm.org.in but no respose given by any boby related to ISBM.

sir i request you to cancel the recognization of such institutions who make student for only money.

I disagree from the complains displayed above, as i had taken admission in ISBM and i was very well supported by them. I had completed my exams also in time and appeared the exams also. the best part of the course is that it can be completed in fast track mode. as these course are specifically designed for working class people, keeping in mind that these working class people have got prior knowledge about the working environment and the work style. As per me as an MBA, I just know that management is a skill so no student would come to know about it if he is a fresher but when he is already working why will he not have basic knowledge about management concept and practice. as he has got practical knowledge it would better if the student completes the course whenever he wants to rather than he wasting his time just for the sake of pre scheduled exam dates.
As far as the cheating in exams are concerned i have no idea because as for me the exams were very tough as it was in my university days.

I too completed my PGDBM from ISBM and it was handled very efficiently by ISBM. The papers were sent to me on time (i had registered in advance 1 month) without any additional fees.I completely disagree with comments from Gurpreet.

I have completed Advanced Diploma in Material Management, through ISBM.
This is to inform you that I had applied for the certificate approved by The Planning Commission of Govt. of India, accompanied by the draft of Rs. 3, 000/- (Rupees Three Thousand Only) through demand draft, on Oct. 08, 2009. At that time I was told that the total process would take 45 days, maximum. Now it has been over two and half month and the status is still unknown. Even my repeated follow ups with the Chandigarh branch failed to solve the purpose.

Your immediate action in this regard will be highly obliged.

I too have completed my MBA in tourism from this institute. It is always assumed that whenever you plan to join a institute or do some course from anywhere you tend to find peoples opinion about that particular institute. Ofcourse the material was sent on time and papers also. I always thought that whatever comments have been posted here are fake but trust me guys its not always. the questions which were sent to me were very relavent to the subject and very practical. Trust me guys you will get al the information on net if you surf for a single day.

I received my cerificate also on time and I was timely infomred about the same as well.

People who are working would obviously have some management skil techniques but when you appear the examination you actually gain a lot of knowledge which can further be implemented in future tooo...

I personally advise people who want a degree which may help their career growth then ISBM is the best institute and I personally also agree that Symbiosis is well reputed institute for MBA studies and abroad insttiutes also...But a middle class person who by spending 20000 Rs and becoming MBA qualified then there is no harm...

There is a saying that all science students dont become engineer or doctors. But somewhere or the other the product knowledge wil come in use.

Think before you take a decision.

I would like to state in clear terms that I had registered for a Diploma in Business Management with the ISBM, and I have to state, for a Training Manager with an MNC with 11 years of standing in the Training Industry, as well as a Professor of Soft Skills who has been actively involved with Curriculum Assessment & Development as well as Test Development and Assessment, I can speak from my personal experience and authority that this Institute is extremely fair, efficient and operationally effective.
It would seem that MR.GURPREET SINGH, a gentleman whose blog reflects the fact that he is lexically challenged is not familiar with DEC formats or with Distance or Online Education, and completely unaware of Case Study based evaluation. In EACH of their modes of Assessment, ISBM has been ABSOLUTELY FAIR. If someone cheats, like Mr.Singh, let him speak for himself-ISBM is not involved in any such activity.

Just for the records, I, being Six Sigma sensitised, as well as being an NLP Diploma holder and ALTE Affiliate, am going to take an MBA course from ISBM, presently.

yes everyone right this institute is totally fake institute...and we are indian v hav to right to speak, , that not to play with our carrer, this institute is not recognised by any council of distance learning, , , my friends ther is no codl in india... there paper is totally, , , fake..i m ...totaly agree its totaly fake...no value with in 6 mnths how any one got degree of mba...its not an mba, , , , , its just a piece of paper its just business...do u listen any institute, , , calling u and said ...sir please do mba...is it relevant ..no bsi .no .ukas..established in 1956...no body listen about it, , , they are selling fake certificate...to indian..commmunity is it relevant just check it ...no placement.. no job... not validation in any organisation..if it recognised with plannning commision then govt gave us job... they merely doing business and making fool of people..just check codl{council of distance learning} just opposite of indian council of distance learning which is totally fake...best of luck friends, , , and go for icfai..go for iiim, other relevant institue...

hi evry1 i have heard about this ISBM frm a frnd of mine who has already done a GDM(Graduate diploma in management) from ISBM bangalore and is now an HR in a reputed firm i m also planning to do the same (GDM) and after that may be MBA too i visited, met and consulted with the official person over there and he was quite clear and transparent about the courses and about the institute this one is for surely who has no time to waste and who can really study on their own and get a degree accordingly, not for those who have much time and some people may be they dont know about it may place wrong impression about it but in contrast i wud really want to know about this institute whether can we really get placements after doing this any comment on this is welcome plz let me know whether i can get job on this certificate abroad mainly in gulf countries... they already told that their degree is valid in 144 countries but no institute or organisation will tell any negative things about their firm so whoever who has done any course from here and got placement or any job mainly abroad can u people just lemme know and let others also know about it plz be frank and be clear whatever it might be coz its about the career and life of someone who has wasted his precious time of about 5 years in a row..

I have received positive support from ISBM Ah'dabad. At the time of joining I have received course material!! I got sample papers too frm Mumbai Office!!

This is a cheating institute, they provide you certificates which has no value int he market. If any HR persons log on to ISBM portal to do verification of the certificate they get a remarks stating that 'THE CERTIFICATE IS NOT ISSUED BY ISBM". Please be careful while getting registered with ISBM, the responses from their team is pathateic when enquired. They claim to say that their web site is in upgradation. I have been provided with the certificate and for the last 6 months i am chasing on this issue and have found no answer. I would not recommend anybody joining ISBM as this is more of a cheating organisation and playing with public money. BE CAREFULL with this organisation.
