Jet Airways — Pathetic behaviour of staff | |||
Good day My Family and I flew from Doha to Mumbai on the 06th of August 2013 and arrived at the Mumbai Airport on the 07th of August 2013. Since this was our first trip to India we had problems in finding the correct terminals and arrived 5 minutes late to check in our luggage. The staff at the check in counter was not helpful at all and did not even assist in directing us to the correct counter to book another ticket. A guard at the gates assisted us to advise were to book another ticket. We were then told that we had to pay an additional 2500 rupees per person as a penalty for being late and that they will book us on the 2:30 pm flight. We were also treated like prisoners in the airport for 8 hours as we could not check in our baggage or leave the airport. Is this how the staff are trained to assist passengers? I have always heard good reviews about Mumbai,however after the treatment we received from the Jet airways staff I would think otherwise before booking or travelling to Mumbai.
