Few months back my eldest brother died because of Jaundice. He was working with BHEL posted at Bina site.On 14 Decemeber Jaundice was diagonised with 3.5 factor by Bina's Doctor Mr.Pandey. Later on 15 Decemeber he was moved to Kasturba Hospital at Bhopal. While coming to Bhopal from Bina, he was ok and even able to walk on his own after getting to Hospital premises, as reported by his collegues. But after some time he was reported as Dead by Hospital personnels and they declared as "Brought Dead".
After 3-4 months we still do not know the cause of death. When we demand the treatment report to the Kasturba Hospital, they refused to provide the same claiming that they have not treated the patient as he was brougth dead to their campus.But at the same time they are saying that patient has very low blodd sugar with 10-11. But question arises how they tested the blood sugar of dead patient?
Why are they so frightened to give or show the reports? Even they are not allowing anybody to see the reports? They also hold the previous treatment history files of the patient with them and refused to give it back to us?
Now my queries are is the above total scenario is valid? are they have rights to hide the tests or reports done in Kasturba? Are they have rights to keep the previous history of the patient and even not giving/providing the xerox copies to patients blood relatives?Is not all these scenario and the behavior of hospital personnel brings them to suspicous situation? Please answer my queries as early as possible.
Is there any way to know what treatment is provided to the patient at Kasturba Hospital and to get the previous treament papers back from the Hospital authorities.Please let us know. we are in very tense condition. Was this information helpful? |
