I have been flying in Kinfisher airlines since it has been launched. and i am a frequent flyer in the airline
I have been a proponent of the services despite the obviously falling standards in your service over the last two years. Initially travelling in Kf was fun . However at the current moment, I will have to say that it lags clearly behind Jet which I fly when my company books tickets.
Since i had made the unfortunate mistake of being a frequent flyer in your airline, I normally book my personal flights through Kingfisher
We had just gone through a personal tragedy and my mother was to go back to Calcutta. Wanting her to go through a comfortable journey, I had booked the kingfisher flight (IT 603 ) despite several cheaper options being available. The idea was that my mother would have a journey which was not troublesome. However I was shocked when I receive an SMS today informing me that the flight has been changed to a kingfisher red flight.
I do not think that is fair or correct. It is not possible for me to get a flight now on jet which was the other alternative. I think this behaviour smacks of cheatting and downright fraud . If the flight was mentioned as Kingfisher red flight i would not have booked it for the price which you had charged me for . In my opinion you do not have the right to do this to consumers
The company call center came back and said you had the right to change the flight. How would I have got the same fare available a day ago just 5 hrs before the flight
My problem is that since this is a monopolistic market, the airline can chose to get people to pay full fare and then downgrade them which is ridiculous Was this information helpful? |
