[Resolved]  Legend Book Co — FRAUD

Dear All,

This was so helpful as me and my colleges have just registered our company and were expecting our registration certificate via courier & at the same time we received a similar VP demanding for Rs.2184/- and the new address as Legend Book Co. West Patel Nagar New Delhi. We were infact planning to go and collect the same considering the parcel as our companies documents.

Just out of curiosity we checked for the details on google and came to know about this fraud.

Thanks alot to all those who have taken effort to uload this as i have just nw received a pacel from this legen book co, from west patel nagar delhi, and asked me to give a sum of Rs.2184/- & we were actually supposed to go and collect the same.Than just out of curiosity we checked it in the web and here we were saved ..thanks a lot this is a fraud company & needs to put a legal check on this.

WE HAVE ALSO BEEN CHEATED . WE MUST REACT TO THIS KIND OF CHEATING SO WE ARE PREPARING TO LODGE POLICE COMPLAINT AGAINST THIS FORGERY WITH IMMEDIATELY PLEASE FILE SAME TYPE OF COMPLAINS IN YOUR AREA TOO .

Yes, we have also been cheated and asked to pay Rs.2300/-. Had we known about this site before, would not have paid.
Worse part is, we received another vpp also, for Rs.2800/-, which fortunately we could reject.
Can anything be done?

I am Dr.V.Aravinth Reddy from Vellore fraud by LEGEND CO cannot be done without DELHI POLICE support, Police must be hepful to the society also.

Same thing has happened to us...after registering our company we received a VPP saying pay Rs.2080/- and collect parcel ...But before receiving the parcel i just go through the internet and we have saved our money. Thanks to all who have posted about this company.

hii... this is company is fraud company. plz start legeal action on this company.

Today, I faced this fraud, our postman came to my office and gave me the parcel of three books and asked for Rs. 2184/- .Few days back we have registered our company and today we recived the parcel with our company name.I thought one of our managers may have ordered that as company requirement...but Unfortunately it was not like that and I paid the amount...and when I searched this name of book company on Site I found all the complaints...but till that payment was made by me.

Pls let us no the contact no and addres..also this fraud should be disclose to media...to avoid making others fool

I too have have received such book and paid Rs 2184 for VPP post. I HAVE REGISTERED COMPLAIN IN POST OFFICE, THE OFFICIALS SAID THAT IF THAT COMPANY HAS PROVEN FRAUD, THEN OUR AMOUNT WILL BE REFUND, SO I REQUEST ALL TO REGISTER COMPLAIN IN THE NEAR POST OFFICE .
it will definitely help some one ..so speared this news to every one.

Even, it has happened to me also, recently i registered a new Pvt. Ltd. Company and today i received a VPP from Divya Book Co. from Dakshin Puri Extn. Ambedkar Nagara, New Delhi.-62. When I googled, about the address, the result was null. Hence I rejected the PARCEL. But in my case it was for Rs.1990+100.

I have decided to stay cautious. I have not requested for any such VPP.

Hence, brothers be aware! and be Cautious!

sadly the same thing happened with us. and i lost money too. what should we all do ? you expect that the docs have come from the registrar and accept it. only today after so many days i came across this page. what should we all do?

It happened to us today. We received a courier from the same Fraud company Legend Book Co. I wasnt available at that time and people in my home thought these documents were part of pvt company establishment and collected the same after paying 2150 Rs. Luckily i got back within 15 minutes of this and found that this is a scam after seeing this website. We immediately rushed to the post office and spoke with the Post Master and explained him that this is a scam. After arguing with him for few minutes he was kind enough to send the parcel back and refund us. He made a call to the postman who had delivered the parcel to us and asked him to not pay off the VPP money at the counter but instead to meet him and he refunded the same to us. The books are so pathetic which drives people crazy and there is a guilt that you were cheated right in your drawing room. Luckily this wasnt the case today and we feel relieved. It not about the 2000 rupees but the feeling of being cheated :( The Delhi postal authorities should verify the sender's address before booking VPP and i believe there is a department which is incharge for this and they arent doing their job properly.

Today, I faced this fraud, our postman came to my office and asked me to collect the parcel of Rs. 1990/-+100?- .I thought that it must have come from CBSE...but Unfortunately it was not like that and my School Staff paid the amount..& collected it from P.o.and when I saw the parcel, it was from Divya Book book co., 12/154, Dakshin Puri Extn., Ambedkar Nagar, New Delhi-110062.
I searched the name of the company on Site I found all the complaints...but till that payment was done.
Kindly advice, what should i do?

Couple of hours back happend same to me. I have paid and collected. the post master is kind enough to understand my situation and agree to refuse the parcel. if it's same day you can make comaplint to post master so that they will not sent the money to the final party.

We have registered pvt ltd company last week. yesterday postman came with book package coming from Legend book co aforesaid address. I refuse to receive the package. then I search for google and know the reality of legend company. VPP @2214/-

I have also received this VP for Rs 2184. Is there a way we can make these kind of marketing stop? OR bury this Bloody Legend company itself????
