SCAM - This place is sending useless books to any newly registered company with VPP/COD in hopes they accidentally pay for it.
The post master came to our office today, they had two parcels for us and a mail and told us the VPP charge was 2730. What is going one we got into scam. How new portal register company through mca portal can get leak our database...

Hi Team, The Legend Book Co, based out of Delhi is being sending books with order of value 2500/- INR. This is a big scam they are doing. Rqeust you to kinldy act on the same at the earliest.

Date of Incident: 14-Feb-2024

Legend Book Co gets your name & address from the MCA website. They send a parcel on VPP not revealing what is inside. You pay Rs.2450/- for the parcel thinking it may contain something related to your company. After paying, you open the parcel and then you realise the con job. This company should be shut down and I should be refunded. Also the MCA website needs to be made more secure....

Around 2 days back I received the parcel named after my company from legend book co. via speed post and had to pay Rs 2457 and when I opened it after paying there are only 3 bad quality books that I didn't ordered

Today we have received a parcel from legend book co from New Delhi with to pay rupees 2340 . My parents took the parcel by thinking it is important one. But later I got to know it and it is fraud. Please refund my money back....

We recently registered our company and have received a registered VPP parcel with our exact company details (we were already expecting documents from our registration process) and were forced to pay at the government post office before being allowed to inspect what documents were inside this parcel from Legend Book Co.
We paid INR 2340 at the post office and on opening the parcel we found old torn books regarding employment issues (that we never ordered in the first place).
Legend Book Co. has misused public domain information about newly registered companies and then abused the Indian postal system of first payment before opening the parcel to inspect.
We have now registered a police complaint against Legend Book Co. We expect our INR 2, 340 to be honestly reimbursed to the account it was received from.
Legend Book Co. is a total Scam - do not fall for it and demand your rights to inspect the parcel before opening.

I recently registered a Pvt Ltd. company. I had to take a travel and I was not there when the post master dropped in. He came with a VPP parcel and claimed Rs 2340.My parents thought it was something from Ministry of Corporate affairs and bought it. I just realized it is a scam. Please help to get back the money....

Dear Sir,

We've started up a new company, named 'Pararthi Technologies'. We've received a parcel today fully covered on postal and the postal guy said it's from New Delhi in the name of my company. I thought it could be a mandatory step for a start up and hence released the parcel but when I opened its set o[censored]nwanted books for us sent by Legend Book Co.

We neither ordered nor consulted this company and we believe it's a mischievous way of sending COD parcels in disguised way and misleading people. We paid 2457 INR for releasing this parcel.

We tried contacting Legend Book Co but they couldn't be reachable in any way. We are from Andhra and it's in New Delhi and we couldnt reach them physically. Kindly look into this matter and help us resolving this.

I have recently registered my co. For pvt ltd, immediately after registration i have received some unknown parcel by m/s legend book co 2373/a, mandir lane, west patel nagar, new delhi-32, and asked us to pay rs 2340/- as vpp charges. We ended up accepting. I dont know who has asked m/s legend book co to send this parcel to us or this book co is sending parcels on their own who ever registers a new co. These are irrelevant books and they are making money of it. Please take action and refund our money pradeep

I have recently registered for a private limited in the name of REALBRIDGE Marketing. Today, I have received a VPP for which they asked Rs.2184 . Since I got the information about this fraud company through Consumercomplaints.in I sent the VPP back. The parcel contains books.

I HAVE RECENTLY RESIGERETED MY CO. FOR PVT LTD, IMMEDIATELY AFTER RESIGERATION I HAVE RECIEVED SOME UNKNOWN PARCEL BY M/S LEGEND BOOK CO 1/9489 ROHTAS NAGAR, SHAHDARA NEW DELHI-32, AND ASKED US TO RS 2184/- AS VPP CHARGES. I DONT KNOWN WHO HAS ASKED M/S LEGEND BOOK CO TO SEND THIS PARCEL TO US OR THIS BOOK CO IS SENDING PARCELS OF THIER OWN WHO EVER REGISTERS A NEW CO.

PLEASE DONT FALL PRAY TO THIS AS THIS IS A BIG MONEY MAKING...
