[Resolved] Lic - India — Delay in lic claim settlement

An appeal was filed in State consumer Dispute Redressal Commision Lucknow by LIC against verdict of district forum Ghazipur on 19/6/2006 vide case No. A/2006/SC/1486 .Since then nothing is known about .status of the case till now as nearly 06 years passed.This is a claim of Rs. 50,000/= against LIC India . Please help me to expedite the case and advice me accordingly.

This is a case of insurance claim of Rs.50, 000 against LIC India in 1992. LIC of India rejected the claim of particular policy on the ground of age difference in the year 1999, then I approached the district forum Ghazipur(UP) .The district forum ordered the LIC of India to pay the insuranced money in may 2006 but LIC filed an appeal in UP state consumer dispute redressal commission, Lucknow in jun 2006.Till now nothing is known about status of the case since more than 06 years passed in appeal.
If such type of small cases in appeal take so long time to decide what about other big cases!
I request all viewers to comment on this to expedite the case.
