[Resolved]  Lic Of India — Non Payment Of Death Claim

Dear sir,


Myself Ashish Kumar has to narrate that presently we are facing a lot due to negligence type behavior of LIC towards its customer. My father purchased a policy from LIC in July'05 with policy no.[protected]. Unfortunately he died in on 27th Nov'05 leaving is in a great mental agony.

We informed yourself at that time through the agent from whom my father had taken the policy about demise of my father for getting claims.

I feel very sorry to say that till date no satisfactory answer has been provided to me though around 3 years have been passed.

My mother (nominee in father's policy) is suffering from psychiatric problems and we are facing a lot in her treatment due to fund problem.

I am presently posted in Rewari (Haryana), therefore it is very difficult for me to get in touch with the LIC office at Azmagarh and the agent who helped us to get the policy is also not giving any help. Due to belief only; my father, myself and my brother has taken policies by the same agent only; and now we are getting such reward for the same.

I have also registered my mail ID on LIC site.

My daughter Manju Rani died on 19/02/2008.There was a policy on her name with policy no[protected].Its been more then 1 year since his death but had not recieved any response form lic though we have completed all the formalities.I hope at least u would respond to this complaint.

Dear Sir,


Since the date of claim the investigating officerS have

repeatedly harassed me by interviewing me on the facts of

death of my only Son, which gives me mental agonies & tortures.

The claim is intentionally delayed for some vested interests

on the plea of malafied intentions.


If at all i had malafied intentions for monetary gain out of

death of my only son i would have insured him for a huge amount.

Further you people should note it carefully that any amount

of money even is not sufficient for me to consider it as

eqivalent to the life of my only son .


Hence i have decided to sue you both officially & personally

for causing me mental torture intentionally.


Before doing that a time period of 15 days is given to u

to settle the matter.

Dear sir,

I am Suman Kumar S/o Late Sunil Chandra. My father expired on 22 Aug 07. He was having LIC with Policy No.[protected]. After his demise, I submitted all the relevant document in connection with death claim in the month of Aug 2008 in Khagaria Branch district of Bihar. I visited several times in connection with his death claim. I interacted to Mr. Vir Bhadur (claimant staff) of Khagaria LIC Branch. I was suggested to visit Divisional Office Bhagalpur for the same. I visited several times to Divisional Office of LIC Bhagalpur, Bihar. The manager of claimant department did not give me fruitful answer regarding my father's death claim. As of Now I have lost my hope and patience in this regard. Till date I do not know the present situation of my father's claim. How much time will be taken to finalize the claim.

Your suitable reply in above matter is awaited.

I have also filed claim papers on the life of my deceased wife on policy no.[protected] in N0v 2008 which is still pending.

lic is not promptinsetling death claims.

i am amitabh kumar s/o- late upendra prasad sah (agent - lic code -317/51B at khagaria branch). my father met with an accident at new delhi in a road accident at 17/09/07 and died. i am living at wz-220 j/46 vishnu garden new delhi -18 for my livlyhood.
i intimeted imidiatly to the branch and submited all respective documents but there is no any responses are given by lic till now ...
please take needful action to solve our problem

sir, I could not enroll my policy No.[protected] as dt of birth in user profile mismatch with dt of birth in document.Please also tell me what will be the new premium of the same policy.

i,nidhan tantia s/o late dilip kumar tantia,beg to say that my father was expire on 25 jan 2008 having some lic policies of darbhanga branch.my mother smt.sarita devi tantia is nommine of their policies.
my father having several policies in which 2 of policies no.[protected],[protected] are still not cleard about three years passed away,and no any response from darbhanga branch after several of letter had dispatch.
so you are kindly requested to please lookin this matter and obliged me.

REF:policy no.[protected] . with regard to the referred policy non early claim was submitted. since the above policy was surrendered wrongly by tiruvallur branch , the claim is yet to be settled. i submitted claim papers in the month of febrruary 2010.for the past six months i am not recieved neither the payment nor the intimation of repudiation.I NEED A REPLY FROM YOU WITHIN A WEEK . Sir,
That policy already surrendered, So you not able to get the claim. then you ask that branch manager how that policy surrender without your notification. and also contact Our LIC central off Mumbai.
