[Resolved] Lic Of India — Misbehave and refusal to issue cheque on surrender of policy | |
I had surrendered my policy Lic Market Plus at LIC of India, Ambala Cantt Haryana on 21.12.2009. I was informed by Mr. Narinder Kumar Verma, Admn Officer that i will be issued my cheque on 23.12.2009 . Accordingly, I went to LIC of india office on 25.12.09 or 26.12.2009 to have my cheque issued. I was again told by Mr. Verma that my cheque is not ready. Thereafter, I again went to Lic of India on 4.01.10 to take my cheque from Mr. Narinder Kumar Verma, Admn Officer at Ambala Cantt. Mr. Verma misbehaved and kept me waiting for half an hour and attended other Customers who came after me. Even after my repeated requests, he refused to me my cheque and told me to come after 2:00 P.M. It is matter of great regret and surprise that i am not issued my cheque even after lapse of 14 days from the date of surrender of my policy. Mr. Verma did not even bother to check that whether my cheque is ready or not, and just told me to come after 2:00 P.M. for the third time to take my cheque. Was this information helpful? | |

Sub: Terminate Policy
I join LIC profit plus policy (Plan No 188) in year 2007. I submitted its 3 payments in 2007-08 and 2009 as informed by my agent. My Policy no is[protected]. Now After couple of years i want to know the status of my policy and found that my policy is break. I just shocked how it is, as i submitted all 3 payments regularly. I did not got any intimation either by company or by my agent that my policy is going to break. I'm very disappoint with this thing. I want to continue my policy, Please guide me.
