Lic Of India — not received my policy

i am not recevied my policy no :[protected] DOC 20/11/2009. please tell me what to do? to get my policy.
i will talk to my agent & he say that please check in the post office & i do it but the post office person say your policy address is not proper so they return the policy to lic of india's head office & lic office person say thay don't have it. then where is my policy
