Lic Of India — Poor Customer Care, NO RESPONSE FROM HUMAN | |||
It is almost impossible to get a response from a HUMAN on LIC helplines. The following numbers hardly ever respond. Every time I try, either phone keeps ringing or engaged. These numbers are from http://www.licindia.in/phone_helpline.htm NORTHERN DELHI-I [protected] NORTHERN DELHI-II [protected] NORTHERN DELHI-III [protected] National helpline does not respond with HUMAN EXECUTIVE either. VERY POOR SERVICE FROM LIC FOR EXISTING CUSTOMERS. BUT WHEN IT COMES TO MAKING NEW POLICY THEY CHASE YOU. Was this information helpful? | |||

LIC — Poor Customer care
It is my personal experience about the LIC Asansol Branch.These bunch of employees(not all of them) do not care when it comes to the delivery of the services to their customer.
Nether they can not provide correct information nor they are ready to help to when it is needed. These bunch of people do not bother about you and me, the customers. They are rude and they are there to harass you.
They are not accountable to anyone. That is their life long job and so they don't care the quality of service they provide to their customers.
My personal experience as follow.
My policy matured and I phoned them to ask what documents are needed to claim the benefit. I was told nothing additional. Only the policy document and the letter which was sent to me(only on my request). So, I went there with my policy document and the letter they sent to me to my home address. I submitted my documents and they compared my signature with my 20 years old signature. Surprisingly it matched perfectly!! Then they started to show their muscle. They asked me show my ID. I did not expect that but fortunately I had some ID with me. Then they ask me find a person who can identify me. Fortunately I had my brother with me. But again my brother has to be identified by some sort of document.Then they ask me a revenue stamp. So these bunch of lazy pigs can not keep even revenue stamps with them. So I had to go out to buy one which was more expensive that the its price tag.After all these non-sense I asked them to pay me the money. They initially refused to say that they can not as it is illegal and they do not known me(after alll those phone calls,submitting all those documents, comparing my signature and identifying myself)! To make it legal I had to see the AGM and after a lot of argument I forced these bunch of to make a payment.
I ask the higher authority to look into the customer care side of the LIC. I am sure these behave like these with other customers every day.These bunch of pigs should be punished for their poor customer care.
