[Resolved] lifetime prepaid — Outgoing calls not in function in Roaming

Mobile No [protected] lifetime prepaid. Outgoing calls not taking place since 02.03.2008 while in roaming. Complaint lodged with Airtel Customercare on15.03.2008. Complaint No:[protected]. Customercare Executive promised to rectify the problem. No action till date. Contacted Customercare today, 17.03.2008, 2 times. Senior Executive reports no problem in the system. Gives suggestion to select network manually and the problem will be solved. Accordingly I adviced my spouse, she is carrying the mobile set with her, and currently at RUDRAPUR, UTTARKHAND. However by selecting the Network manualy, the problem has not been solved. Outgoing calls are getting disconnected. Incoming calls, sms incoming and outgoing, are active as before. There is no direct access to Airtel Prepaid thru email to customer care service. Every time you call, you repeat the entire story to different customer care executives. lifetime prepaid — careless of customer care

i am ruma das, recharge my lifetime prepaid mobile with 69 bonus card and got the facility of V2V 30 paise/min, to others 75 paise/min. and 100 local sms free.
at 17.06.2008 night around 10:17 p.m i call to ur customer care and asking him that, tell me the exact rs that i get same facility. then the man said me for recharging 74... but now i see that this is not the exact voucher that i want...
so if possible please change my facility from Rs 74 to Rs 69, then i will be vry thankfull.

lifetime prepaid — Lifetime expires on 31 dec 2008

Hi,

I had taken LifeTime prepaid from airtel less than 2 years back.
initially i was getting a message that "validity is Lifetime"
Later i got message "Lifetime till Airtel license renewal in our state, karnataka"

Now, i am getting message my "lifetime expires on 31st Dec 2008. "

This is absolutely cheating. Airtel is making money in crores with this.

I had paid Rs 1000 as initial charges, thousands of people have taken this offer and looks like all are being openly cheated by this company.

Does anybody else have faced this problem, pls share the problem and what did you do about this.
Can we petition against this company and get this resolved.

lifetime prepaid — HOPELESS OFFER FROM AIRTEL

Hi

I have experienced very bad service from Air Tel.

I have taken a life time prepaid sim card from air tel on jun 2007 and used upto dec 2007. After that I went abroad. now i came back try to use but the number was given to somebody else. I asked the help line and they are saying since i did not use for 6 months that number has lost.

REALLY I DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE MEANING OF LIFE TIME CONNECTION FROM AIR TEL.

AS i do not want any jokes as SMS from Airtel prepaid (54542) though i sent Don't disrub SMS to 54542 , they didn't stop sending the jokes which on cost
