[Resolved] Maggi — Worms in Vegetable Atta Noodles

We had purchased a packet of VEGETABLE ATTA NOODLES (MRP:15/-,LOT NO:92940453/02,MFG: OCT 2009/B) FROM Dmart, yari road, versova
Today 24th of June'10 (within the 'best before' period of 9 months) we prepared the noodles by boiling & adding the taste maker. Whilst eating the noodles my wife noticed a dead 1cm long whitish worm in the serving. it almost resembles a noodle but it had legs. We had given another serving to our maid and she is unaware if she consumed any such worms.

We confirm that we used a new unopened packet without any cuts/tears, which could have lead to a worm manifestation after packaging.

I shall soon be calling nestle to lodge a formal complaint. Meanwhile I found a similar case of Mr Indranil Sarkar, Calcutta in this website so i thought of also writing in.

maggi — bug in packaging

I purchased a 5 pack of Maggi Two minute noodles and I was disgusted to find a dead bug in the flavoring sachet. It is appalling to think you are selling products with dead animals in them!

NESTLE/ATTA NOODLES VEG — PACKET INSIDE SMALL INSECT

I purches two packet veg atta nudels, one packet made and eat my son, after two haurs may son sick, imediatley I checked second packet foud smll insect above 100 number.I your costemer last 7 years .I full faith your product and company but this acsident I very sock.

hi .. same happend with me on 31st of july.. when i was eating maggi. while eating i found 3 worms in my maggi. i dnt knw few of must be eaten by me.yukkk... it was horrible .. i even saw the packet but it was not expired bcoz each maggi packet have expiry date 9 months after there mfg date.. and the mfg date was jan 17.. which i bought just a month before. i have already put a complaint to nestle..and even i have recived investigation call from there side.. lets see how will they look after this matter.
