Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd — Unexpected High Electricity Bill

Hello,

Since last 15 months my electricity bill varied from Rs. 400 -600 whereas this month it went to Rs.10900. Based on usage MSEB team says its correct however 1 month back they reported no reading available for meter. Suddenly for 1 month my electricity consumption whent to 1300 Units from a regular <100 units. I am not sure what to do :(

Ya I have also same problem I dont have used electricity at all. main switch is off(I am out of country). Still I got electricity bill of rs 400 (Sept 2012). Why? Whats going on? Jago grahak jago
