[Resolved]  Maruti Alto — MASS negligence

Dear sir
First I would like to introduce myself. Me Poonam pathak presently residing at kashipur ( U S NAGAR ) o[censored]ttarakhand..I am proud owner of Alto-Lx car( UA06A-0860..Engine no: 3004013 chasis no: 155304 ) . I have travelled up to 86900 kms by this car very conveniently till 4th of april’2009. I was pretty satisfied the services offered by your organization from time to time but I would like to lodge my serious complaint which I have experienced in the last few days or so. Please read out my following lines in chronological order and try to evaluate how your MASS had given me financial problems…

1: On 29th April 2009 when I was coming back from Haridwar I noticed that one of light indicators (just below hand brake light showing status of engine oil etc.)was flashing. Though it was late in the evening but I was fortunate enough that I got one of MASS …KRISHNA AUTOMOBILES (ID 2556)..was stiil open. I requested the personnel/technician there to check the status of my vehicle. Soon after inspection by checking the fuel gauge he said that one of the switch controlling the oil are like that may be loose and in hardly few minutes he tightened that one and handed over the vehicle to me. He neither prepared any paper not charged anything for that. As indicator was not showing light now I left the MASS satisfied.



2: On 2nd May again visited to another MASS ( OM MOTORS KASHIPUR..ID 2557 )which is very near to my residence as I was getting a little noise from my Engine side. I was little conscious also as it was giving me trouble again after three days are so ( though I had not used my vehicle in last three days and red light indicator was not also flashing).I also narrated the whole story of 27th april and requested him to check why and how it had started. Again the result was the same technician checked the condition of oil from the gauge and by careful inspection he said your vehicle is OK and nothing wrong looks prima facie.

3: On 4th may when I was travelling from Kashipur to Rudrapur for Election duty ( I am sector magistrate for one of the sectors )I noticed that again indicator is flashing. Soon I stopped the vehicle and called authorized representative at RUDRAPUR i.e.AKANKASHA AUTOMOBILE and informed him about the situation. Person to whom I talked advised me to not to start the engine further and sent two of his technicians to my place ( 4 Km from Rudrapur).After inspection of my vehicle they towed my vehicle to workshop where after opening the engine compartment it was informed by them that the ‘ENGINE IS SEIEZED NOW’.



3. I was much shocked as I were in constant touch with the MASS and the persons deployed there kept me on telling nothing serious is cooking and nothing to worry..and due to their sheer negligence I am facing financial trouble of the order of nearly thirty five thousand are so. Only due to their negligence I reached to my election duty late also and that created an awkward situation.



4. Sir, I am an ardent fan of MARUTI vehicles and of company where customers satisfaction is given utmost priority. But look at the problem faced by me how MASS are behaving in a most irresponsible manner due to which I am forced to go through the state of financial crisis. Problem which could have been avoided very easily has created big problem for me. I know company do wish to take the concerns of the customers very seriously but these MASS operators are jeopardizing attempts. . I am not having any documents in support of these negligence as my vehicle was handed over in few minutes without any documentation but if you can believe this I am not fabricating any story for this and moreover you may set up an enquiry where I can put forth my view point also.



Kindly look in to this matter seriously and sympathetically and please find a way how my this problem can be addressed. My vehicle will be OK in a day or two but it’s difficult for me to arrange the money and moreover it’s not my fault anyways. I hope you will look in to this matter and compensate for the losses which I am suffering due to negligence of your centers and making a dent in to mindset of the proud customers of your company.

Dear sir,

I have purchased Maruti Alto LX car from your dealer at Bhopal M/S JEEWAN MOTORS PVT LTD BHOPAL, on 12.08.2008.

After a lapse of eleven month time of said car, the AC was not working, I went to the Vidhya Automobiles M.P.Nagar zone-II bhopal ( One of the authorised service centre of the Maruti sujuki) and told them the complain. The macanic of the service centre had told that gas been leaked that's why AC is not working, he further told that AC is not under warranty period hence you have to pay Rs 1600/- for such repairing and facility of AC service is not available at their centre. I agree for such repairing than he bring my car to another macanic. The another macanic has checked my car and filled the AC gas in the chamber and get ready the AC. After repairing, AC of my car was working upto four month and theirafter AC is again not working. I again went to the above said service station and told the compalin, the macanic again told that gas has againt leaked and you are again required to pay for such repairing. I am fed up again and again pay for such repairing. It appears that leakage of gas chamber of my car is a manufacturing defect and a defective car has been sold to me.

Please look into the matter and solve my problem at the earliest.
